La Maison d'Architecte en pleine nature - le "Clos des Chevreuils"

Mooi huis gelegen in een heel rustige omgeving. Ideaal om de streek te verkennen. Groot terras is echt wel een meerwaarde.

The peace and quiet was much needed and present, the surroundings were gorgeous- the house itself was impeccable. It’s was much appreciated how comfortable the kitchen was, all you need is there. The terras is amazing and bliss to have breakfast and dinner. And we slept like angels. An extra shout out for the fact that our dog was welcome - he also loved it!

Very nice and quite environment if you are looking for a weekend get-away from a busy schedule. The lakes are about 10 minutes away by car, where you can find many activities there. The hosts are very friendly and always available whenever there is a question.

The reason we booked this place is because of the garden and we thought we could let our dog run there. But unfortunately the garden is open at the end, which we found a little pity.

Having travelled extensively throughout the world, we know good from bad. And this place is VERY good. Nice area, beautiful house surrounded by lots of garden, trees and privacy. Fabienne is the sweetest host and provided us with information about the surroundings. A great place to spend a week - or two, as we did. Highly recommended and that's to bee taken sincerely. We walked in the Ardennes, visited the nearby abbeys, Dinant, Chimay, the museums at Waterloo and Bastogne - and returned in a beautiful house. So could you. Don't miss it.
