Peaceful stay in a beautiful village, with unforgettable views of Lago d'Iseo right on your doorstep

Our stay at Lo Sguardo was amazing. Everything from the views, the apartment, the service was 10/10. Our hosts provided breakfast every morning, and a gift basket of food and drink on arrival. They were so kind and helpful as well. I wish I could live here, it was so good. I will always remember having breakfast outside in the mornings, looking at the lake and Monte Isola.

Perfect host and location.

The view was outstanding, the apartment was so clean, you could tell the linen was all fresh. Adriana was so lovely and welcoming, it was sad to leave. The extra touch was the breakfast left outside each morning, we couldn't fault it. We felt very spoilt. The location is only a short walk away from the ferry to Monte Isola. A wonderful stay. Thankyou very much!

One impressive spot

Yet another undeniable 10/10 rating for Lo Sguardo: one magnificent 'apartment' (de facto private villa), with a daily view of the sun setting behind Monte Isola. After a memorable 14-day stay, we can confirm that, yes: this place really *is* quite something - one seldom comes across a location in a very private environment, with both the interior worthy of a luxury hotel, and an idyllic outside view. Adriana, Camilla, (and family): grazie di cuore!

A little bit of paradise!

There are not enough words to describe the beauty of this property. If I could give it 20 stars I would. If you are lucky enough to stay here, then you will have found a little piece of paradise. The accommodations are spotlessly clean. Everything is comfortable and the home is very spacious. You are provided with everything in the kitchen that you might need and your hostess, Adriana, delivers a beautiful breakfast to your outside table every morning. It is an incredible treat! The view is perfect! You would be happy just sitting outside in your chairs, staring at the lake. We did not want to leave!

A beautiful and peaceful retreat and very thoughtful host

Beautiful picturesque, quiet location overlooking the lake and mountains - it feels like a retreat. The apartment was clean with bedding and towels (a changeover of towels halfway). Selection of tea, coffee, jams and snacks greeted us on arrival with a bottle of bubbily which was a lovely touch. A thoughtful host who provided bread, croissants, yogurt and cheeses for breakfast which was much appreciated. The bedroom was a lovely size as was the lounge/kitchen. Very clean and bright. Sun loungers and deckchairs as well as a table and two chairs are provided outside with sun towels - a 4 star accommodation.

There isn’t anything not to like. We always looked forward to coming back after a day exploring the lake and beyond as it is so peaceful and beautiful. An outdoor hot tub would be great to cool down in and be a luxury addition that would certainly add to the ratings further.

Good apartment with a beautiful view

Great apartment in a remote location with a beautiful view of lake Iseo. We were welcomed by our host who showed us around and also left a lot of snacks , bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay. Also, we got served breakfast every morning, even though it wasn't included! Apartment was very clean, bed is super comfortable. Also we got our towels changed after few days.

Interior could be improved a little, it didn't feel cozy inside. Also, no towel heater in the bathroom.

Wonderful, relaxing break with plenty of sightseeing within easy reach.

Unexpected breakfast was very nice. Apartment spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Stunningly beautiful view on lake Iseo. So quiet and peaceful, yet close to a supermarket, bakery and excellent grocer. Plenty of good restaurants close by, or in Iseo (only 10 minutes drive away). The best thing about this accommodation is Camilla and her mother Adriana. They are such lovely, friendly people and make your holiday extra special. They are so hospitable and willing to answer any questions you may have. You will want to return as soon as possible !

The location was stunning with the best view we have ever had. Adriana and Camilla looked after us brilliantly, picking us up from the station, providing a beautiful free breakfast each day on the terrace. the property had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Lots of lovely touches provided to make out stay so relaxing.

We stayed in the green apartment which had a stunning view of the lake from the terrace and bedroom. A selection of outside furniture which added to the comfort. Clean and offered a change of towels mid way through our stay. Air conditioning in lounge and bedroom. Comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast set out on the terrace every morning. Host was very attentive and provided us with a drying rack for our clothes.

The best apartment ever

The magnificent view, beautifully kept apartment with Aircon and everything arranged with very careful attention. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was superb. The beds are comfortable and the bedroom airy and with screens on the windows so you can open them and look out on the lake and Monte Isola. Adriana collected us from the station and dropped us back. I have travelled to Italy for the past 8 years and this has been the most astounding apartment. Utterly relaxing and we felt very welcome. In the words of the add..if Heineken did apartments, this would be it. Much gratitude to Adriana.

Wow! What a fantastic apartment in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Iseo and the beautiful Mont Isola island. The view was awe inspiring. The quality of the freshly renovated and beautifully finished apartment was superb. Couldn't fault anything. The host was delightful and so friendly and helpful throughout. The lovely fresh breakfast was left outside the apartment on the table so we could enjoy it whenever we felt like. The village had a couple of fabulous restaurants and the walk to the ferry to the island was easy. Easy parking, lots of outdoor space. This is honestly the overall best accomodation that we have ever stayed in; totally recommended.

The only slight thing we can think of is that the shower was a bit slow draining away...but didn't cause any problem.

Adriana was a very warm and welcoming host and met all of our needs. The apartment was as described. It was fully equipped and everything was state of the art. The apartment is located in a very quiet area and you can also enjoy this tranquility very much. The view from the terrace was simply breathtaking!!! We thank Adriana and her family for everything and look forward to visiting lo sguardo again.

Todo: impresionantes vistas, super limpio, muy muy cuidado, maravillosamente decorado, y sobre todo agradecer todo a su anfitriona, Andrea, un encanto de persona que nos sorprendió con su gran amabilidad, educación y profesionalidad exquisita. Amenities en baño entre los que no faltó un detalle. Las vistas desde el jardín eran espectaculares. El clima también acompañó … Recibidos con botella de vino, productos para picoteo en la cocina y un buen desayuno en casa, que ella traía todas las mañanas, etc… también nos dio información precisa o aclaración de cualquier duda sobre toda la zona del lago … en fin, más no se puede pedir. gracias de corazón Andréa !!!

Molto molto belissimo.

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Direkter Blick auf den See und die Insel. Der kleine Ort Sulzano ist in 5 min über eine steile Straße zu Fuß erreicht. Die Unterkunft ist hell und freundlich und passend zur Örtlichkeit eingerichtet. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein bequemes Bett, von dem man auf den See schauen kann. Die Terrasse und der Garten haben auch im Herbst eingeladen, dort zu sitzen und den Seeblick zu genießen. Das Badezimmer bietet ausreichend Platz und Komfort. Auch einen Regentag kann man in der Wohnung fabelhaft verbringen. Das besonderste an der Unterkunft ist allerdings Adriana. Sie empfängt die Gäste mit viel Herzlickeit und trotz Sprachbarriere haben wir uns gut verständigen können. Adriana hatte einen Welcome-Korb mit Leckereien, Kaffee und Tee in der Wohnung arrangiert und eine Flasche Vino Frizzante im Kühlschrank hinterlassen. Zudem richtet sie jeden Tag ein kleines Frühstück auf der Terrasse an, was ganz wunderbar war und uns den Aufenthalt zusätzlich verschönert hat.

Geweldig verblijf!

De accomodatie was in een woord geweldig. De eigenaresse ontving ons zeer vriendelijk. Een fles bubbels als welkom! Er was werkelijk aan alles gedacht en dan het uitzicht op het meer vanuit de heerlijke prive tuin was ongelofelijk! We hebben ontzettend genoten van een paar heerlijke dagen!
