It's ideally located near the JARDIN DU LUXEMBOURG, with the PANTHEON next door. The CATACOMBES of Paris and the Observatoire de Paris are not far away. It is located in the 17th-century Hotel particulier of the Comtesse de Longueville, next to the Val de Grâces.

The famous Latin Quarter is a student district, very lively, among the oldest in Paris. Its name certainly derives from the fact that, in the university sector, instruction was given in Latin.
