About this house rental
If you've been looking for your annual summer retreat, you have stumbled upon the areas latest and finest offering. our meticulously maintained beach front home is large enough to accommodate a few families or host that micro beach-front wedding.
Our private beach provides a sand bottom and safe water depth taper for all ages. No need for water shoes here! The breathtaking view over Lake Michigan from our front yard will guarantee you a peaceful start and finish to every day of your vacation.
Our generous floor plan provides sleeping for approx 14 guests. It has one full and one half kitchen, two refrigerators, two full bathrooms, and a massive master suite. Attention to fine details has been paid to this home abundantly, from the fine woodwork to the marble floor, not to mention the stone fire place in the great room. Our home also offers 2 separate enclosed sun porches as well as a large outdoor deck area with patio furniture and gas grill. Our focus is to provide you with enough gathering space yet plenty of private space for your large group. We attend to the tiniest details of our home which include quality linens, carefully selected kitchenware, comfy beds, including a toddler bed for the little one, and a unique play space for the kids.

Our location puts us 5 miles from the heart of the city of Escanaba, 3 miles to the airport, 3 miles to Upper Hand Brewery, 20 miles to the Casino, 1 mile from the Ford River, and 1 mile from the Local store.
On site we have Kayak and SUP rentals available, please inquire about pricing. We can also assist in your search for a local fishing guide, or any other needs your require during your stay.

What a great place! The host is an exceptional communicator; very responsive to questions. The house is so roomy, with plenty of space to spread out and talk, eat, play games and puzzles, read, etc. The main dining room table easily seated our group of ten, and a second large table on the porch let us set up a puzzle for the week. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and three refrigerators and a washer and dryer are a plus. The deck, yard, beach and lake are extraordinary. The deck has another small table for dining and the sitting area is a great place to chat, catch the breeze and listen to the waves. The beach is huge, and the sandbars allow even the younger kids to romp and play way out in the water. One note: We misunderstood the layout of the second floor. The second floor is one long space with three separate sleeping areas. The queen bed, two twins and the bathroom are in the middle of the second floor, called "the loft" in the listing. The bedroom with two queens is at the far end of the floor, so you have to walk through "the loft " to get to it. The bedroom with one king is on the other end of "the loft." Both end bedrooms are private and have doors. That aside, we will come back without a moment's hesitation. It is one of the best sites we have found, over many years, for our family reunion.
