About this docked boat rental

Arcadia is a luxury accommodation boat composed of 3 bedrooms, a modern kitche, a large living room and a covered bridge with a breathtaking view of the Citadel and the Grognon.

Close to the pedestrian area, you will be a short walk from shops, the Citadel, historical museums, the old vegetable market square with its bars and restaurants, and next to the shops on the rue de fer.

We provide all the necessary comfort in order to spend a pleasant stay:

Julien is a very nice host, who helped us with information and solutions whenever needed. The Arcadia is an interesting ship an it was a unique experience to stay on it. One should know, that only the entrance door can be opened to have fresh air. The city of Namur is definitely worth a journey and the friendliness of the people is outstanding. Not to forget the numerous places to buy and eat the famous Belgian chocolate.

I have found it hard to find a way of starting my review of our time on Arcadia as I think each one of our family group left a little bit of our heart there. The location is fabulous with the City Centre and Citadel both being in easy walking distance. The accommodation itself is spacious, comfortable and gets lots of natural light. The three bedrooms are reasonably spacious given the restriction of being on a boat, and the living room doubles as a 4th bedroom for larger family groups. The kitchen was small but functional and equipped with a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The open plan dining room/living room area which is spacious and comfortable. Above deck there is a spacious covered area with a dining table which is great for lazy summer holiday breakfasts, and a sun area with tables and chairs. The owner is very responsive to any questions or issues you might have. We thoroughly enjoyed our time onboard and will certainly be back for another stay on Arcadia.
