The biggest advantages of this apartment are its excellent location and the beautiful view from the balcony. Also, the apartment is quite spacious. If these are your priorities, it may be a good option.

However, the apartment was not as clean as expected. One of the bedrooms had a glass window, offering very little privacy. The bedroom doors and one of the bathroom doors did not have locks. There were also several maintenance issues. The toilet seat in one bathroom would not stay up and had to be held. The shower in one of the bathrooms caused water to flood the floor, while the shower holder in the other bathroom was broken. The dishwasher also leaked water, resulting in additional flooding. Finally, only one key was provided for the apartment, which was inconvenient for a group. Overall, the location and views were excellent, but the apartment would benefit from better maintenance and attention to guest comfort.

El deterioro de algunas instalaciones, sobretodo los ventanales del salón. El salitre es muy perjudicial y hay que saber mantener los metales para que no oxiden (Soy gallego y de la costa, sé de lo que hablo). No cerraban bien y algunas de las empuñaduras para abrirlos estaban rotas. Después me decepcionó bastante que no supiesen cuál era el número del apartamento, ya que solo te dan una copia de llaves y si alguno de nosotros salíamos sin llave, para llamar al timbre era imposible, tuvimos que llamarnos por teléfono. Además, con toda la equipación para lavado de ropa, no tenían un simple tendal donde colgarla a secar. Tuve que usar las sillas de la cocina. Necesita un repaso y algo de cariño.

The balcony view is genuinely impressive: open ocean, the sound of waves, a beautiful horizon. Even though there’s a busy promenade below, it didn’t disturb us at all. The kitchen is well equipped with a toaster, microwave, and plenty of dishes. There is also a safe, which could be useful for some guests. The apartment itself is really, i mean, REALLY spacious - you can easily hit your daily step count just walking from the balcony to the kitchen and back, which is definitely a plus!

The ocean-view windows were extremely dirty (!!!) and clearly hadn`t been cleaned for weeks. The floor was very dirty as well - walking barefoot was impossible, and white socks turned black in few steps. The soft furniture and textiles were in poor condition with visible stains on the armchair (that yellow in photos), bedding, blankets, and towels. The balcony and corners of the apartment also felt neglected. The drying rack was broken, so there was nowhere to dry clothes, towels, or swimwear. There was only one kitchen knife, and it was broken and unusably dull. Basic essentials were missing: no salt, no sugar, and only one garbage bag for four people for a five-night stay. The TV remote didn’t work. The bathroom did not match expectations - a small boiler (!!!) provides hot water for just one shower before needing to reheat, so the bathtub you can see in the photos is basically unusable - you just won't have water for it. Small conveniences were missing, like hooks in bathrooms. The toilet door locks worked poorly and could get stuck. Key pickup was in another location about 10 minutes away on foot (Maybe our specific case due to 8PM checkin, not sure). One bedroom had no privacy at all due to a completely transparent glass door (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), an issue mentioned in reviews since 2024 and still not fixed. MESSAGE TO HOST: Your apartment has amazing potential - the location and the ocean view are truly exceptional. With just a few small investments in cleanliness, maintenance, and basic essentials, this place could easily become a perfect, almost dream-like stay for guests. Right now, however, the number of avoidable issues makes the experience feel more like “fair” rather than truly enjoyable. For us, this stay was a 6/10, but with minimal improvements it could genuinely become one of the best rentals in the area.
