Renzo Hotel

The property does have the perfect location to explore the historic part of Istanbul. Just 15-20 minute walk to the most important places like Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia, 5-10 minutes from Grand bazaar. No need to take taxi on public transport is huge plus. The staff is very helpful and professional, there is no way that you can get scammed by the hotel staff, which is huge plus in Istanbul

The floor could be cleaner and the shower head was leaking - but this is fully understandable considering the price and location. Stay was worth the money for sure!

The breakfast was good

There was no place to relax/sit outside the room

Host was very accommodating, made us feel very welcome and helped out in every way possible - to the extent he even gave me his personal sim card with data to use during my stay! He also showed me the best way to get to any destination. The hotel location was spot on with the tram access around the corner. Plenty of shops nearby too.

The staff were kind and friendly.

Everything was very chaotic. My room was not ready for more than an hour, yet I arrived around 3pm. Well after check in. Than I was also informed that they would be switching me rooms the 2nd day. I had booked over a month advance so there was no reason not to have a solid booking. On the 2nd day I had to pack up again and went out early. I messaged at noon that I was on my way back to rest. Once again, no room was ready for me. I think I spent more time sitting in reception than enjoying a room. It made my time in Istanbul much les enjoyable and relaxing.
