Super friendly owner, large modern room with airco and fridge. Above a great Croatian restaurant.

The location is nothing special and on a main street. But the rooms are large and modern, and there is airco! What a treat! The owner (I think?) was so friendly. No breakfast, but dinner at the Croatian restaurant below was fantastic. It's a popular local spot.

A back entrance from the parking area would be great, so you don't have to go through or around the restaurant, but probably not possible. One window that gets very full sun didn't have a curtain that operated well.

The location was great, the room was massive. Room had air conditioning. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. Groceries within a short walk away. The beds were very comfortable.

This is not really the fault of the property, but as travelers on a three week long trip I would have liked to have laundry facilities nearby. The closest we were told were back in Cologne. If you are headed to Brühl and need laundry done make sure you do so before you get there. For other people on shorter trips this is probably not an issue.

Comfortable and welcoming hotel with close access to Phantasialand for a short stay.

Very friendly staff showing us to our room. Close proximity to Phantasialand - a short 15 minute walk to the shuttle bus. Comfortable bedding and more than adequate storage and facilities for a short stay. Generally very clean.

Slight imperfections with regards to cleanliness but nothing that hugely affected the stay.

Large and comfortable room for 2-3 people

Great value, large room even for 3 people. The 3rd bed is actually much more comfortable than we initially thought from the pictures: it's a real hotel bed, so you can come with 3 people safely! Staff was very friendly and accommodated a very late arrival!

The room we stayed in was very spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids, also very modern and spotless clean with comfortable beds and all the facilities you could need.The location is good when visiting phantasialand and is close to the train lines into cologne.Mario the owner was such a nice helpful guy,any querys we had or needed any help he would be there ready to help with a smile on his face.

Perfect for families and friends who want to visit Phantasialand or surroundings: 8 minutes drive or 1 bus. Don't miss the food in their resturant, it is amazing! They even divided the "adult" dishes into two kids.

Pleasant

The hotel is mostly family run and everyone is very nice and friendly. The rooms appear to have been recently renewed and the one given to us was very spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom (the latter having its own window and a lot of light!). Impeccable cleanliness (at moment of our arrival: see negative comments below!), both in the room and in the comfortable and spacious bathroom. On the ground floor, the hotel is occupied by a large and spacious restaurant, of very good quality (above all, with an excellent quality / price ratio) and which we highly recommend to all guests of the hotel. The car park, at the rear of the hotel, is very spacious and convenient (free for the hotel guests).

We noticed some weaknesses, both structural and in the management of the hotel. For the first aspect (structural defects), the access staircase to the rooms is very narrow, decadent and without a lift (the rooms are on the second floor!); moreover, the kitchens of the restaurant below open on these stairs, and the smells coming from them reach the rooms, impregnating them in a sometimes annoying way. As for the weaknesses in the hotel management, it is really a shame that, with such a good quality restaurant located below the rooms, the owners are unable to organize a breakfast service for the hotel guests, which would certainly constitute an added value for the structure. Also, there was no room cleaning service during our two nights stay; but no communication was given to us about this lack of service both at the time of booking and at the check-in, so returning to the room in the evening and finding it totally untidy (as we left it in the morning) was a real (and unpleasant) surprise for us.

The hotel is small and cozy, the room was very spacious and clean. The restaurant served delicious food and it was very affordable. The staff was super nice and accommodated all our needs. Definitely will be visiting there again :)

As frequent travelers to Brühl, we would stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days and found Mario and his staff extremely welcoming and professional. The beds are comfortable and it is quiet, which is notable since the hotel sits atop his restaurant. The bathroom is large, as is the shower. The food and service in the restaurant is also top notch.

Very warm welcoming by super friendly staff. Late arrival accommodated without any problems. Very spacious room and bathroom. Super comfortable bed and sofa bed. Many supermarkets around, perfect location for Phantasialand. Local craft lager so good :). Highly recommend.

Guter Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Ein sehr wichtiger Punkt für uns ist die Sauberkeit und Ruhe, und hier war alles perfekt. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel, in der Nähe gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie eine Tankstelle. Leider hatten wir keine Zeit, in ihrem Restaurant zu essen, aber der gute Duft des Essens und das schöne Ambiente des Restaurants sind bemerkenswert. Ohne Zweifel wird dies unsere Unterkunft sein, wenn wir Phantasialand wieder besuchen.

Fijn plekje om te overnachten en te eten.

De kamer was heel netjes en schoon. Het personeel heel vriendelijk. In het restaurant kun je heerlijk eten. Echt een aanrader.

Het is vrij gehorig qua verkeer en je hoort de stoelen van het restaurant verschuiven. Gelukkig is onze zoon een vaste slaper dus die heeft er niet zo'n last van gehad.

Die Unterkunft wurde mit zwei Doppelbetten beschrieben. In der Realität war das erste Doppelbett allerdings ehr wie zwei zusammengestellte Einzelbetten auf Rollen, die auseinander rutschten wenn man in der Mitte lag. Das zweite Bett war ein Ausziehsofa welches bei Bewegungen gequietscht hat und insgesamt nicht so bequem war wie ein richtiges Bett.

Séjour parfait !

Tout était excellent. La chambre était spacieuse, très propre et confortable. L’emplacement est idéal, à seulement quelques minutes de Phantasialand et également très pratique pour visiter le château d’Augustusburg. Mention spéciale pour l’accueil : chaleureux, professionnel et toujours disponible. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
