I initially stayed for 3 weeks then extended by another 3 weeks as it was so enjoyable to stay there. It's a fantastic location for someone with a boat. Also so close to beautiful beach walks. It was quiet, peaceful and had so much room for my boat , car and motorbike without having to park any of them on the road. The best thing would be the management who were always polite, accommodating and quick to act on minor issues as they arose.

I don't think I'd classify this as "not liking" anything but on the most minor level, it would be a bonus if there was a dryer for the periods where it rains a lot. Having said that, the sun room out back was great for drying clothes most days.

The house was reasonably well equipped, the beds were really comfy, with all linen provided, the large windows allowed for the amazing sea breeze to come through when the sun wasn’t on them, we loved that it had a carport and long driveway as well as a dishwasher and coffee machine and washing machine.

No dryer or washing line meant drying beach towels daily was difficult, the curtains didn’t totally cover the bedroom windows, meaning the heat and light somewhat came in. There could be more storage in the bedrooms or the spare blankets could be stored elsewhere to allow more space for clothes in the drawers provided. The bathroom needs an upgrade.

Sharp kitchen knives, decent water pressure in the showers. When I flagged issues with the property I received a very prompt response from the listing management organization. The cornice in the rooms looks quite nice. It's a great beach to be near though need to walk further down to find a safe area for swimming.

BBQ unusable (not clean) on arrival, not enough seating for 5 people in loungeroom, house clearly wasnt properly cleaned or inspected prior to our arrival (dead cockroaches under beds, one live one in the bedroom crawled over my daughters heads whilst she wasnt trying to sleep on night 1, kitchen bench not wiped down, debris in bathtub). None of the blinds actually covered the length of the windows for any of the rooms. This is a very old house, with an updated kitchen and some reasonable staging - too many issues with everything else.
