The building was fantastic, beautifully renovated. Room was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom and a great shower. Air conditioned.
Didn't like the cross in the room.
But a very good location for our onward journey to Santander.
We were booked in at reception, given our key card and no information given on breakfast location and time or evening meal. However, we found the information on the booking.com app about breakfast but not evening meal.
We asked at the bar, told kitchen was closed and not clear when food was being served. Gathered later that it was 8.30pm for dinner. By that time we had made do with some food that we had in the car.
After a 6 hour drive, did not feel like going out to find a meal.
So, feel that the details of meals and location could be made clearer on arrival.

Location is great. We have stayed here before. We have our dog with us and the hotel is very accommodating.
On this occasion breakfast could have been a little better, but generally it is good.

It is just such a stunning building beautifully furnished inside but totally in keeping with its former life as a monastery
