Enjoy the best of both worlds when you spend your summer in this historic Sullivan’s Island luxury home, less than a block from the beach, and only a ten-minute drive to beautiful downtown Charleston. This home boasts 7200 square feet of beauty and comfort. Built-in the late 1880s this home is located in the renowned Officers Quarters section of Sullivan’s Island and was once part of Fort Moultrie. Beautiful Live Oak trees line the block. The three stories are surrounded by wrap-around porches on the first and second floors and a spacious balcony on the third floor. This historic property was extensively restored in 2001 and offers all the amenities needed for your enjoyment including a Viking gas range, Sub Zero refrigerator, and Bosch dishwasher. The spacious eat-in kitchen is only one place to gather. There is a dining room, a dining table on the beautiful light-filled sun porch, outside dining on the front porch as well as the screened porch and dining by the pool.
We are located within walking distance to the restaurants and shops on Sullivans, only a block to the beach. public tennis courts are behind the house as well as a park for children.
