About this villa rental
Secluded villa on the south side of St. Thomas overlooking the Caribbean Sea
Overlooking Morningstar Beach below and the Caribbean Sea beyond, this charming, fully air-conditioned three-bedroom villa is located at the end of a private road in a secluded area only minutes away from dining, shopping, and nightlife.
A beautiful garden walkway and a red awning ushers you into CalypsoBlu`s breezeway, which is set with comfortable, cushioned chairs for cool, shady relaxation. To the right of the breezeway is the large great room which includes the living and dining areas, kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, and a half bath. A large flat screen TV is also available for your enjoyment. Sliding glass doors open to a covered veranda overlooking the pool and sun deck.
On the right side of the breezeway is the air-conditioned king master bedroom with an en suite tiled bath and its own private veranda. A few steps lead from the breezeway down to the pool deck complete with chairs, table and a grill.
From CalypsoBlu`s pool deck you can access the second bedroom, an air-conditioned king suite with en suite tiled bath and fabulous ocean views. The third air-conditioned Queen bedroom suite offers an en suite bath, and a mini kitchen with a refrigerator is located on the other side of the pool deck.
The three bedrooms in this secluded home are well-separated for maximum privacy. Each one has its own outside keyed entrance, making this an ideal villa for couples vacationing together. All bedrooms feature hair dryers and large flat screen TV`s with Blu Ray DVD players. Unfortunately, the villa is not wheelchair friendly with several steps between the living area and bedrooms. This charming home sits 150 feet above the seashore on nearly an acre of land. CalypsoBlu is approximately 2,600 square feet indoors with an additional 1,200 square feet of outdoor space, much of it covered.
Watch spectacular sunsets, yachts and cruise ships coming and going from Charlotte Amalie harbor, or take short drives to shopping and restaurants. Live by the sun and love by the sound of the waves at CalypsoBlu!

The property location was great its in between Megans Bay and the airport. The listing doesn't clarify that the rooms are all separate away from each other, leaving the living and kitchen area together. But overall the property was nice and clean. The power went out a couple times it seems to a normal thing on the island but we weren't aware of which freak us out.

We loved everything about this property. Everything you need is there for you! The views are amazing and the house is enjoyable. Very clean. Excellent communication with the property management. Views of the cruise ships entering/leaving port, Frenchmans Reef/Morningstar Beach and iguanas in the tree tops in the mornings!!! We rented a car to get around as you are a little secluded on the mountainside- driving on the left side of the road takes a little getting used to but totally worth it! We stocked the kitchen when we arrived and ate many meals at the house- grill works great! There is a little bit of noise coming up the hill from the construction on the hotel but by 4:00pm most of the noise settled and as soon as the hotel is done- there wont be any noise! Just you, the ocean (which you can hear!) and the birds! We will most definitely return!!! FYI- bring bug spray for this time of year.

CalypsoBlu was the perfect house for our family vacation! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the sea views and the kitchen was very well equipped for our meals at home. Beds are firm but comfortable and the beach chairs were very helpful.
I highly recommend an SUV if you stay at this property. The road that leads up to the house isn't paved and would be tough in a small sedan. Follow the instructions from the house management team, NOT Google maps. Also, there is some construction at the bottom of the mountain that can be noisy in the mornings. It seemed to calm down by late afternoon and evenings.
We enjoyed a couple of meals at LimeTree resort about 3 minutes away. It's convenient having a great restaurant so close!
Overall, I highly recommend the property.
