Cosy apartment with great views

The harbour views are beautiful. The flat feels like home with all the little extra touches and well equipped kitchen. It is spotlessly clean.

Excellent stay, and a very comfortable flat.

The flat is very comfortable, and very well equipped. It is also located with a superb view of the harbour, and within walking distance of restaurants. This was our second stay, and both times it did not disappoint.

The only thing that would have been useful (and I say this for almost all rental properties), is that there are high shelves in the kitchen cabinets with glasses, pans etc. This is not a problem for me as I'm tall enough to reach them. However my wife is 5ft tall and often can't reach things on the top or deeper shelves. A small foldup step left in the kitchen (we have one in our own kitchen) would be useful to a lot of people.

Unforgettable, perfect.

Location fantastic. Great view. A lot of careful though and attention to detail has gone into the premises and the inclusions. Loved the Steamboat and Wick. Near Ebenezer Place we found details of a heritage walk which we photographed and followed. Would have missed all of that without it. Great walk. Great information

A great place to stay as a base for exploring the north-east corner of Scotland

The property exceeded our expectations, given the location (overlooking the harbour) and outside appearance. It was clean, well-equipped, warm, and came with super clear house instructions. We especially appreciated the washing machine. The binoculars to watch what was happening in the harbour were an added touch.

It was all pretty good, really. As a hint for fellow travellers, the Tesco at Wick was the best place to get groceries - a bit of a drive from The Steamboat, but everything you might need can be obtained there.

It was a lovely weekend for me and my wife Kim's birthday.

Fantastic location, great views of Wick harbour and close to all amenities.

May be terrestrial tv if I'm being picky. But that was not a problem as it was a smart tv with Netflix etc. And we didn't care as we didn't stay there to watch tv anyway.

I loved the Steamboat so much I wished I stayed for a week.

What a fabulous setting overlooking the harbour. The Steamboat was very comfortable and had everything you would want for a stay. If you book the Steamboat, use it as a base and spend at least 4 days there, more if you can afford the time. We only spent 2 days and I wish I had booked more.

Clean, cozy, we were so happy to spend a couple relaxing nights here

Our kids are 9 and 11. The couch bed was a bit too small for them. One slept on the floor, no big deal. May ne better to advertise that the couch sleeps 2 very little kids, preschoolers perhaps, or 1 older kid/teen/adult. But again, this wasn't a big deal for us.

Home from home - it will always be my first choice when working in Wick

The flat is cosy and spotlessly clean Amazing hosts - everything has been though of, whether you plant to stay for a week or just one night The best parts for me are: being able to park at the door (as it was snowing), the harbour views and the location to local restaurants

Very nice little apartment.

Nice location, great view. Good supplies in the kitchen apart from no spatula for the sausages. Good supply of condiments- salt, pepper, oil, soy sauce etc. Great shower.

Liked having Netflix but I missed live TV as i like to watch the news in the morning. Like most self-catering homes, there's no TV in the bedroom which is fair enough on holiday but on work trips I like to go to bed early and watch something.

Excellent, comfortable, clean accommodation that we wouldn’t hesitate to go back to.

This was a self catering accommodation that provided us with absolutely everything we needed and more. It overlooked the harbour, which gave us a good view of the coming and goings, even down to the lifeboat returning safely to harbour. There was a very good fish and chip shop, Harbour Chip Shop, and an equally good cafe (Whickers World) just down the road. We were very comfortable and can’t rate this accommodation highly enough.

Nothing - we knew about the steps leading to the apartment which had been made very clear in the booking information and it wouldn’t suit someone with mobility issues but that wasn’t a problem for us. Couldn’t fault it.

Great location, easy parking, exceptional cleanliness, excellent facilities especially in the kitchen and bathroom, loved the small touches like local recommendations in the guest pack and the binoculars. Nice to receive a welcome text message and to have the basics provided (tea, coffee, cleaning products etc.)
