The room was beautiful and clean ' Tea coffee and biscuits in room ' very comfortable beds ' lovely decor throughout the whole building! Staff super friendly and more than helpful! Would definitely return and highly recommend! Beautiful part of the world! Gerard & Kay

Everyone and everything

A very modern and spacious room in the heart of the village. Very well designed guesthouse.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, tastefully decorated

The front door downstairs slams shut and is quite noisy also it’s above a pub so you could hear the music through the floor which would have been annoying if we were trying to have an early night.

Staff went extra mile such as facilitating an early breakfast. Thanks

The bed was comfy, the room was clean but noisy on street as by the bar, loud music played til v late. Breakfast was in a cafe round the corner which you get a voucher for and it was woeful.

The room looked welcoming and attractive. Everything was clean and in good condition. There were restaurants and cafes, a pub, and a shop all nearby.

There was some traffic noise, but died down 10-ish

We were disappointed that the breakfast was from a Cafe that did not open until 9am as we had to be on the Road at 8.30am to get to our Dublin Ferry. This should be made clearer in the description I feel.

Nice spacious room and looks recently renovated. Comport bed.

Location on main road. Double glazing did very little to stop road noise throughout the night. Sound proofing between rooms not good. Neon sign outside window lit up the room even with curtains and blinds closed. Very warm room with no air conditioning. Accommodation over a pub.

Fab breakfast in cafe down the street included, gorgeous room, bar hoppin downstairs but I didn’t really mind , very clean room and spacious

This is our second stay here. The location is excellent, rooms are clean, comfortable & well decorated. There are key codes to access all rooms so you can come & go as you please. We have already booked for next time

The place the spotless clean, cozy, the check-in was super easy. Plenty of supplies available in the room (coffee, tea, milk, toilet rolls). It is located above the pub - we heard no noise and it is super handy to drop down for a pint! Loved it!

The Velux window wasn't operating properly, so ventilation was so-so.

Nothing. This was one of the best places we stayed in our five weeks traveling.

Loved that the rooms were so modern, large and airy.

It was a little noisy from the bars below. Triple glazing would probably be needed. Rooms were also very warm, ac would have been a huge bonus.

Breakfast was very good and the location was spectacular, what an amazing drive through the glens!!

Could have been a bit more info in the room about access and security. Noise from the nearby pubs over the weekend could be difficult for some people.

Obviously being above a pub we expected to have some noise, a well as being on a main road. Unfortunately there was a lot of cars driving past beeping their horns until quite late at night (after midnight), so we didn't sleep that well

Self contained room above a gorgeous local pub. The room was spotless, spacious, quiet, warm, with a spotless ensuite and also had tea and coffee in the room. Reception check in was easy and the girl behind the bar who checked us in was lovely. The traditional pub downstairs looked great although unfortunately we didn’t get to try it as my partner was too tired. We booked this stay last minute as we were on the road and it was getting late, we didn’t know what the property looked like from the outside from the website photos, we were thrilled to see it was a traditional pub with rooms above! Feedback would be please add exterior pics so we can see how fabulous this place actually is! Breakfast at the cafe around the corner was delicious- highly recommend you choose this place if travelling through the area.

Front door to the guestrooms was very secure, as was the door to our room. Information regarding access and check-in was shared in a very timely and competent email. Lovely hallway and foyer up the stairs. Decor and finishes were to a high standard. The bed was comfortable. The room and ensuite were very clean

Breakfast at the cafe could have been a tiny bit more generous.

Really good, a bit of a late start though.

Road noise, we had to shut the windows and aircon not working.

Very modern interior that is kept very clean and fresh. East check in and out and good value. Plenty of parking at local spar shop.

Located in the heart of the town, pubs and cafes in walking distance. Views to the river and a short walk to the beach

It was central to all. And the breakfast was lovely.

They got our booking wrong and we ended up having to wait till the evening to get into our room. Staff on the bar were friendly and apologised and also gave us a drink on the house but would have enjoyed more if we could have got into our room to freshen up before meeting up with friends.

Couldn’t find a single fault here. The room was far in excess of what I expected. Superb. I was always cautious about staying above a pub due to the noise but can honestly say that I never heard any noise whatsoever.
