Room was so clean and comfortable. Lovely bed and pillows. Even though at front of premises we were not disturbed by noise. Had a lovely three nights here. Really recommend this spotless, restful bed and breakfast. Housekeeping was excellent.

It was clean & fresh. It was my second time staying there. It’s a very convenient location. It was no problem getting access codes earlier than I had put on the booking.

From the moment the door to McNaughton Guestrooms is opened you can see the quality of the decor. Going up the stairs there is a lovely aroma from the defuser. The room itself had almost everything you could want. Modern decor with quality furnishings in a fairly large room. Did I sleep well? Yes I did Did I enjoy my breakfast? Yes I did
My initial thought was I was going to be staying in a room above a pub on a busy high road and I'd never get to sleep, but I did sleep and very well! Personally I'd prefer blackout blinds, especially as the biggest streetlight known to man was right outside the window.. I didn't mind walking around the corner for breakfast at a café, but it wasn't raining or cold so might be an issue for some.

Breakfast was good and convenient. The area is quite and has good walks to the beach and sea views. Three village pubs are welcoming and there are also the Boat Club and Golf Club for a visit.
Room could have had a small fridge.
