CHARMING HOUSE IN VENICE

Great location. Only a 10/15 minute walk to all of Venices main attractions but on a lovely street just off one of the side canals. The street nearby was buzzing with lovely restaurants and bars away from the high priced ones in the city centre. The host was great and really accommodating.

Leider war es in der Unterkunft auch in der Nacht sehr warm. Natürlich kann der Gastgeber nichts dafür, da es schwierig zu sein scheint eine Klimaanlage einzubauen und ganz Italien zu der Zeit unter Dauerhitze litt, und er hat auch reichlich Ventilatoren zur Verfügung gestellt, jedoch hat es unseren Schlaf leider doch erheblich beeinträchtigt.

Excelente alojamiento, ubicado en un barrio tranquilo de venecia durante el dia, pero que en las tardes y noches tiene mucho ambiente y restauranes para comer. Se encuentra a metros del barrio judio, el primer gueto del mundo. Respecto al alojamiento es comodo, y amplio. Deberian actualizar las fotos debido que es mucho mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos.

Venecia en verano hace demasiado calor, se agradeceria un aire acondicionado. Pero igualmente el anfitrion se preocupo de combatir el calor y nos dejo 3 ventiladores grandes. Por lo tanto fue posible dormir a diferencia de otros alojamiento en la misma fecha.

The apartment was as advertised, pictures did seem to be outdated.

The location was rough, construction and absolutely no breeze or cross wind. I didn’t feel safe there with my family. There was no ventilation and it was like a sauna, and that I’m sure contributed to the musty smell. If it’s not hot maybe it might have been acceptable. The shower was super short and difficult to use. The sofa bed wasn’t made up for us, but instead the linens were left for us to do on our own. Two of the fans didn’t work…the others helped marginally. My whole family had a hard time sleeping and we avoided being there as must as we possibly could, we did not enjoy it. Everything was marginal at best, it wasn’t for us.
