We stayed at this property with our daughter’s family and a few friends. Beautiful home in a beautiful location. It worked out well for our trip that really wasn’t a beach vacation. The only complaint would be that the bathroom on the lower floor had spider webs that needed to be broomed out of the shower and other areas before we could use it. There were cobwebs too in the main floor great room upper walls that were very noticeable and not exponential a higher end rental. I did not call on these things since we arrived later and decided to just clean up the spider webs so we could use the shower.

We wanted to take an Anniversary trip with just our family (two children) and it’s hard to find a single family home in OBX that has a pool and close to the water. We ultimately chose this property bc it had almost everything we wanted.
The pool was perfect for our family of 4! The garage had tons of pool toys for them to live their best pool life! The house was stocked and made it an easy transition to cook and live as normal. Very homey. Beds were hard in master bedroom but not horrible. Great master bathroom with big tub.
Our girls stayed in the bedroom with bunk beds, which also has a twin bed with trundle, which they liked. (Could have had 4 children in one room)
The house was relatively clean but the comforter on a bunk bed was dirty so we replaced with another from the twin bed. The coffee pot wasn’t clean and kind of gross and one room didn’t look to be vacuumed. But besides that, it was very comfortable and felt like home. The view from the living room is beautiful, overlooking the golf course.
We arrived to the property later than we hoped and was not able to get to the office to officially check in. But I had an email with the code to enter the house. We did not realize it was a gated community and did not have a password but there is a number to call to get the password, which we just weren’t aware of and weren’t sure how to proceed but we figured it out.
It was a short drive on the main road to the beach access. Would be perfect for a golf cart or even bike, if you don’t have kids and their million beach required toys! We drove our car but would rent a golf cart if we decided to rent here again, just for convenience and to keep the car clean.
This house is located between the two towns of Duck and Corolla, which is nice for dinner options and activities! The house itself is very secluded, other than seeing golfers on the course from the living room window. The pool has fenced in with a gate, making it impossible for our 3 year old to enter the pool area without help, which I appreciate! Trees all around the house and pool make for a very secluded feel, which we loved!
Overall, great experience! We would definitely consider staying in this property again.

This lovely home is what is expected based on the listing photos. The property was clean and ready for us; 2 seniors, 2 forty-somethings, and a 6 yr old girl. There are utensils, cooking implements, dishware and glassware. We have rented other vacation homes in different parts of the country. This home compares favorably in many ways and excelled in some. Areas that excelled are the community, the location, the home's interior and exterior, and the private pool. There are many amenities available such as the trolley and beach valet. There are many fun on property activities. The aspects that did not compare favorably to other homes we've rented include the grill on the deck; which is not user friendly therefore we grilled only on the first night. The temperature gauge was not functioning and flames are difficult to control. Basics are lacking such as salt/pepper and other pantry staples, plastic trash bags other than the first one provided in each can, dishwasher detergent, a soap dish in each full bath, etc. Despite these shortcomings we recommend this property highly. There is a Harris Teeter in close proximity to the north gate to shop for your needs and wants.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was filled with all the necessary amenities. The house was large and had plenty of activities to keep my children entertained. Recommend this house to families with young children
