Location is great, but that is probably of most of acommodations in Taormina as it is very small. The appartment is really big and interesting with its old furniture. View from the balcony is amazing, but be aware that it ios not directly witrhjin the appartmewnt but above.
The noise from the street... It is like you sleep on the street. It is quite busy in the night with all the cars and scooters leaving Taormina. Bring earplugs.

La ubicación es muy buena. Desde la terraza tenés muy lindas vistas de Taormina. Estuvimos muy cómodos durante nuestra estadía. Lo recomiendo mucho!

Loved the spaciousness of the apartment, and that it felt like a home. We used and enjoyed the rooftop deck and even hosted a little gathering with two other couples there on our last evening. The view of Mt. Etna from the balcony was spectacular - and it was on the "blood moon" equinox night - super special and memorable!
Though the bedrooms had air conditioning, the rest of the apartment could have used at least a window air conditioner, as it was very warm and thus, we didn't relax in the living room or dining room. But overall 10 stars! Suggestion: some local maps of the area and beach/es.

The roof terrace. Spacious sitting room with character.
Crockery and cutlery was minimal and grubby. No plug in kitchen sink, the kitchen tap was faulty. Most of the time there was no hot water in the kitchen as the water pressure was too low for the boiler to fire up. Some essential lights did not work. The window blind in the main bedroom was broken and could not be closed. The twin beds kept falling apart. No spare bed linen. No soap in bathroom. We were not made to feel welcome.
