House is fine but not everyone is welcome

The living room and dining area were very comfortable and spacious, the dining table is big and the chairs comfortable, the bathroom seems recently renovated and the shower was very good too. The heating is quite powerful and the house was warm and cozy. There are blinds and venetian blinds for privacy and no shortage of crockery. The balcony is very nice too.

The check-in process was bad; the house is in a bungalow park with specific policies that are not mentioned in the property listing. Despite having already provided all my personal details and payment info through booking.com, I had to stand in a queue in the rain for over 45 minutes, just to fill a form providing my details to the park again and get a package with sheets and some (insufficient) cleaning supplies. The form also included the statement: 'We understand that you are good father/mother family'. What? Had I known this upfront, I would have never booked this property. The photos in the listing are strategically taken and it seems like the house is in the forest with total privacy but it is in fact surrounded by other houses and is located on one "street" that also leads to a small playground, so there is in fact very little privacy. The house was not very clean, specially the kitchen, appliances and cutlery. There were a number of random items in the cutlery drawers (from AA batteries to tape). Despite the photos with candles in the listing and the amount of candle holders in the house, candles were strictly forbidden by the park policies (not the end of the world but another example of differences between listing and reality).

Super mooi warmtevol verblijf

De locatie van chalet la catrina nummer 41 Was super🥰 Bij binnenkomst van huisje hadden we meteen een heel warm gevoel😍 Heel mooi en gezellig warmtevol ingericht. De keuken had alles wat je nodig hebt voor je verblijf 1 klein min puntje maar dit komt omdat ik een grote koffie leut ben. Het koffiezetapparaat was echt een klein camping koffie apparaatje en deed er heel heel lang over om koffie te zetten. Senseo apparaat stond er ook maar daar ben ik geen fan van. Maar had zelf ook oplos koffie bij dus de waterkoker die er stond heeft alles opgelost.🥰 De combi magnetron/oven werkte super😍 Bestek borden glazen alles was er meer als voldoende En er.was een vaatwasser dus heb gewoon lekker niet hoeven afwassen dat werdt gedaan voor me🥰 Keuken zag er ook heel netjes uit. Er was ook een ander sevice aanwezig in de kast in woonkamer dus je kon nog kiezen ook een normaal service op je tafel of een tikje sjiek. De stoelen aan eettafel zaten heerlijk. De bank en stoelen bij de tv waren ook geweldig je zat er heerlijk relax in en als je op de bank gaat zitten moet je uitkijken dat je jiet in slaap valt zo heerlijk zit hij. Je kan hem ook uitklappen naar een ligbank/bed en daar hebben we 1 avondje gebruik van gemaakt nadat we een nogal zware wandeling gemaakt hadden en hij lag ook heerlijk. De tv werkte ook super goed net als de WiFi en in het kastje had je ook nog een keuze aan dvd's films als er evt niks op de tv was in de avond en je geen zin had in een spelletje die ook aanwezig zijn in de witte zitbank poef. Een lekker appart hoekje om een boek te lezen ontbrak ook niet. Mensen met kleine kinderen hebben ook alles bij de hand. Buiten op de veranda zit je heerlijk naar de vogels te kijken je kan dan kiezen om aan de tafel te zitten of heerlijk relax op een tuinbank. En te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. In de kasten zijn spullen om alles even lekker schoon te maken als je er zelf toch even doorheen wil waaien.
