Welcome to Casa Amarilla
At Casa Amarilla you can immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of our tranquil countryside and escape all the stress that modern life can bring. Unwind in stunning surroundings where you can stroll through the olives and orange trees. Bring your bike and sample the quiet but challenging roads into the white mountain villages or see the full beauty of the Alpujarras from the back of a horse. Sleep in until noon if you prefer and spend the afternoon next to the pool. In the evening take a stroll into one of the many restaurants and Tabernas in the town. Or spend the evening by the pool with a BBQ. Admire the star-filled night sky.
This lovely holiday home is a perfect choice if you seek privacy and quiet and, at the same time, you want to be near the bustling but laid back market town of Orgiva.
A short drive will take you to the white villages of the Alpujarra and the beaches of the Costa Tropical are only 25 minutes away. The Casa's authentic charm will make you fall in love with the region and enjoy a truly relaxing getaway in the province of Granada.
The house features a rustic interior, a living/dining room, kitchen with door to the pool and garden , three bedrooms and a large family bathroom.
For evenings in, the living room also has a large sofa, TV and DVD player, with a wood burning stove for those cool winter nights. The double bedroom overlooks the pool and lower garden and is amply equipped with a large wardrobe and dressing table. The two twin bedrooms have windows opening out onto the terraces.
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven and grill, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, juicer, coffee machine, toaster, blender etc..
Relax by the pool on a sun lounger, or recline on the roof terrace with a book , in the shade of the large canopy. From here you can take in the breathtaking views of the Lujar and the snow capped Sierra Nevada. Dine al fresco on the terrace by the pool or under cover of the canopy on the side terrace. A pretty gazebo, in the well-maintained gardens, featuring lush vegetation and flowers, also provides a stunning dining area.
There are many ways to fill your time here in the Alpujarra, all in lovely weather and with the backdrop of amazing vistas, from hiking or cycling to horse riding or snow boarding. Alternatively, take a walk amongst the almond trees and listen to the birdsong - and remember to bring your camera!
It's hard to believe that this paradise is only 50 minutes from Granada Airport less than 90 minutes from Malaga airport and a mere half an hour from the beach. The ski resorts of Granada and the Alhambra are also less than an hour away.

Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos en la Casa Amarilla. Sandie y Mike son unos anfitriones fantásticos, ante cualquier duda o pregunta contestan enseguida. Tanto la casa como la piscina están muy limpias y hemos podido disfrutar de la piscina al máximo.
La zona también es fabulosa hay muchos lugares que visitar especialmente los pueblos de las Alpujarras, el Barranco de Poqueira o el Parque Natural de Sierra Nevada.
Muchas gracias por todo!!!! Experiencia totalmente recomendable. sin duda volveremos

Hemos pasado una semana muy buena, la casa es espaciosa, está bien equipada y es mucha más bonita que en las fotos. La piscina es estupenda y los jardines están muy cuidados.
Sandie y Mike (los propietarios) han sido muy amables y los niños han estado encantados pudiendo jugar con Laila y sus cuatro compañeros gatunos.
Volveriamos sin dudarlo.

Magnifique séjour dans cette très belle villa avec grande piscine.
Décoration intérieure de très bon goût. Très grand jardin arboré et fleuri avec grande piscine. Trois terrasses pour pouvoir toujours rester à l'ombre (ou au soleil). Vues splendides sur les montagnes.
Endroit très calme et à proximité de la ville de Orgiva (5 min en voiture, 20 min à pied). Les propriétaires sont les voisins, ils sont très discrets et aimables et viennent même nettoyer la piscine avant que l'on se lève.
Cuisine bien équipée avec lave vaisselle, four, four à micro-onde, frigo-congélateur, nombreux ustensiles.
Trois belles chambres avec un joli mobilier. Salle de bain avec baignoire-douche. Beau salon cosy que nous n'avons pas utilisé car nous étions là début juillet.
