Relaxing great base in quiet countryside near to many things and plenty of space.

The whole place had character lovely details and decor a few essentials in the fridge and some tasty treats on arrival.

I am not really sure it was all lovely.

It was a very enjoyable stay.

It's quite a spacious bungalow, with a kitchen, separate dining room and lounge, plus the three bedrooms (one for two children). It;s 5 miles from Ballycastle and about 4 miles from the Causeway Coast, but in a good position to reach all of it from Carrick-a-rede to Giant's Causeway to Bushmills and Portstewart. We toured the Glens of Antrim down as far as Larne, and also took the Foyle ferry to Donegal and reached Malin Head, so Peggy's retreat was ideally suited for the whole area, and Ballycastle is a pleasant little resort too. WiFi was very good in the house. Plenty of parking space.

TV reception was poor but i believe an outside aerial is awaited.

A little gem on the way to the Causeway

Prior to arrival owner touched base which was very reassuring and had milk and bread to the ready when we got there. Excellent spot to tour the area. Great for kids had a toy house, books and dvds to entertain all ages. Owners have literally thought of everything. House spotless and beds comfy. Would def book again if visiting the area.

It's a lovely cottage in quiet surroundings but perfectly situated for touring this beautiful part of the island.

Perfect place to recharge and make memories.

Oh Peggy's escape! Our family of 4 stayed for four nights it was perfect for us. Well equipped kitchen, dining room is a lovely space to sit, living room is so relaxing, and 3 great sized rooms, kids especially loved the bunk beds. Our wonderful hosts GIllian and her husband (and a very young baby) met us on arrival, and made us feel so welcome, we are so grateful to have been the first family to Stay in Peggy's escape. Would go back in a heartbeat. Lovely to be able to come in and not worry about milk for a cuppa, also left us a lovely fresh loaf and REAL butter! Very thoughtful with there being toys, books and dvds for the kids, there is also a playhouse out the back which you can see when standing at the sink. This property has tall gates and a wall round the boundary so it’s safe and secure when the children are playing. Peggy's has lovely character and just so homely. Can’t wait to get back again Thank you 😊

We didn’t like leaving so soon. Booking for longer next time.
