Super location 2 bedroom apartment 20 minutes from central London

Las respuestas amables y rápidas de la dueña, Asier como su ubicación en un barrio tranquilo y con comercios. La casa estaba muy limpia y además en la nevera nos dejó queso, huevos, mantequilla, pan...todo un detalle.. El metro Archway está muy cerca y es fácil desplazarse por Londres, en buses o metro desde el barrio.

Se escucha en la casa (sonido amortiguado) el sonido de los metros al pasar. Sólo paran desde las doce de la noche y hasta las cinco y media. Estaría genial si el patio/jardín interior lo tuvieran cuidado. Es un plus para la casa.

Very nice apartment for a family 2+2 in a great location! It's a short walk from Archway station, with several buses even closer. It takes 20-30 minutes to reach central London. There are multiple supermarkets, cafes and take aways nearby. We especially recommend Holy Cow and Workman's Cafe. The flat itself was clean and well equipped, with fresh nicely smelling bedding and towels. The kitchen is well stocked, we cooked several meals during our stay. The main bedroom is very nice, the second bedroom very small but with comfy beds. The owner responded to several questions we had very quickly and in a friendly manner. We could hear every tube train passing under the house but we didn't mind. This is obviously subjective but since we live in a city centre, the noise wasn't unusual for us and we slept very well. Possibly it may disturb someone used to quiet nights. For us it was a funny quirk.

The shower is an experience. We managed to take one every day but every day we were adjusting it between hot and cold. It is possible to achieve a happy medium but it is a very delicate balance. No such issues with the kitchen or bathroom taps. The toilet is very small which might be inconvenient for tall people. My husband definitely complained more than me.

Great position, had everything that we needed. Kitchen was well equipped, the apartment was close to two metro stations, bus stop, shops and restaurants. We had great time!

The layout of the bathroom is a bit weird - the shower is in one place, toilet in another and the sink in another, but we got used to it. The toilet was very small, we were all around 170 - 180 cm tall and we all had problems in fitting in. But apart from it, all good, I’m aware that it’s a peculiar layout of British houses :)

Location was 2 mins away from Archway tube station. We like the coffee maker, it was nice to have some hot drink first thing in the morning.

There were just too many issues. 1. At night there are constantly noises. I can’t even sleep in the living room. Sofa was way uncomfortable, too small to fit myself & my 12 years old daughter. 2. Street truck wash the road (early in the morning everyday, like 6 am. 3. No instructions on how to use the wash machine. I literally had to watch YouTube to learn how to use it. Quick wash on the machine needs to be set at 13, so it will wash within 45 minutes. 4. Wall plugs, internet & Stove were down for 2 days during our 4 days of stay. So basically it was the worse experience ever, we couldn’t make anything or watch anything.
