Charming Half Duplex offering 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. The home is on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood on a canal that offers easy access to open ocean. This home is centrally located in the heart of Marathon. Sombrero beach is only one mile away and it offers covered pavilion, gazebos with BBQ grills, bathrooms, playground for children and sand volleyball courts. Sombrero Beach is a great place to spend the day with your family.
Publix, Winn-Dixie and K-mart are conveniently located one mile from the house.
This property has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, master bedroom has a queen size bed with a walk in closet. The guest bedroom is spacious and has two queen size bed. The house sleeps 6 people. Both bedrooms have memory foam mattress and both bedroom have Cable TV. Bathrooms are fully equipped with towels.
The kitchen has been completely updated, White Cabinets, Quartz Counter tops and New Appliances. Dinning table seat 6 people comfortable, living room has a sectional sofa. The living area is spacious and open to the backyard were you can enjoy ocean breeze and ocean views. The backyard has plenty of space to enjoy the open ocean views, sunrise and sunsets.

This little gem is in a great location with fishing right off the sea wall. The house is clean and fully equipped. We stayed for 4 weeks and had everything we needed. Booked again for next year!!

We normally cruise during Spring Break but had to find an alternative this year (thanks Covid). Fortunately we found this rental ! For those concerned about Florida Covid policies, the Keys still have mask mandates in place and the local businesses all enforced it pretty well. The house was exactly as advertised. Everything was well stocked and clean. There was even an outside freezer for bait that I didn't remember seeing in the ads which was a pleasant surprise. Ivette was amazingly responsive to any questions I had both prior to and during the stay. Way faster than I expected a couple of times. I caught fish out of the back yard every time I tried (Snapper and some Jack). I was told by the bait store that there are also snook and redfish in there at the right time of year. There is a fish cleaning station and freshwater hose in the back which were also a very nice bonus. I wasn't sure what to expect for boat dockage so we left it at home this time, but will probably haul it down next year as the canal is sheltered from any large waves and there is a ladder to assist getting in/out of the boat at low tide. The channel is well marked and you will regret it if you don't pay attention to it. I watched two fishing boats ground themselves beyond the canal outside of the channel. The location is amazing. We did trips for snorkeling, diving, jet ski tour, & parasailing all within 10 minutes from the house. We traveled a little farther south and got to enjoy hiking on No Name Key and several up close encounters with Key Deer. The snorkeling/diving at Sombrero lighthouse is impressive. Sombrero beach is about a mile away and has been rated the best beach in the Keys pretty much forever. Our teenage daughter walked to it with no issues. We felt completely safe allowing her to walk through the neighborhood to get there.I was extremely happy to find that the Cracked Conch restaurant (a few miles away) has not changed owners or quality from when I used to go there 30 years ago. AMAZING conch chowder ! ! Can't wait for next year !Tim
