Relaxing getaway spot in a historic part of Limburg

Steve, the host was very friendly and welcoming. He was also very accommodating to our requests for a later check-out. The property was extremely clean and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is gorgeous with ample toiletries and towels, the balcony is a great feature and overall it was a very relaxing stay. The location is also prime as it is just round the corner from start of the Sunday antiques market in a relatively quiet spot.

The main rooms in the property are a bit dark, but that is not the fault of the property since it is an older listed building. The hosts provided a lot of lighting options which gives the place a cosy feeling. We only wished that we could have stayed more than one night.

Found a home away from home

The house is nicely renovated and set in a beautiful old part of Tongeren, a cith that's full of surprises for both young and old. Steve met with us in front of the house and showed us around the house which was beautifully renovated with all the supplies we may need during the stay : smart tv with netflix on, kitcheware, cleaning supplies, lots of coffees, everything you could possibly imagine :). We really had a wonderful stay and this house felt like home away from home and can't wait to be back at 'Le petit béguinage'. Thanks Steve & Sophie for everything!

Stunning eye for detail by the hosts! Perfect for a romantic get-away

This place not that far from home was really a wonderful discovery. It had everything to make our short get-away a perfect escape from daily routine. The hosts have done everything and more to make guests feel welcome: the kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking (with even a selection of salt, pepper, water, tea, coffee available), the decoration all over the house is tasteful and there is a lot of eye for detail to make it very cozy. So we did not have to leave the house at all for eating out and were able to enjoy the house to the fullest. The location is excellent: quiet in the traffic-low streets of the Beguinage and yet close to a public parking (free!) and the town's center. A true gem!

Only superlatives for this wonderful place. Friendly owners, warm welcome! House was very cosy and comfortable, with an eye for small details. Nothing negative whatsoever. If you want to spend a couple of days in Tongeren, this is the place you want to stay :-)

Warm welcome by a very friendly and nice couple. Situated in the nicest historical part of Tongeren. Free parking close by. Very well equipped kitchen. A very cosy living room with all TV channels you need and Netflix. A very large and nice bathroom. All you need for a wonderful holiday. Just book it. You won't be disappointed.

Perfekt!!

Wunderschönes Haus, liebevoll und wertig eingerichtet. Während man in anderen Unterkünften mit Glück 1 Teebeutel und 1 Rolle Klopapier bekommt, ist hier alles in ausreichenden Mengen vorhanden. Die Lage ist perfekt, Parkplatz und Innenstadt direkt um die Ecke. Sehr freundliche Kommunikation und der Checkin ist mit Code oder Empfang möglich. Absolute Empfehlung!!

Sehr sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, in dem es wirklich an nichts fehlt. Die Gastgeber stehen jederzeit zur Verfügung und sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus liegt wunderschön und sehr zentral. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hier kann man sich Wohlfühlen.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein kleines Schmuckstück. Jeder Raum ist liebevoll gestaltet. Alles, aber auch wirklich alles ist im Überfluss da. Nicht nur ein, zwei Kaffeekapseln oder nur das übliche Set Handtücher oder Duschtücher, nein die Schränke sind voll, dazu Spiele und ein vernünftiger Haarfön ( ein Segen, wenn man lange Haare hat), Duschgel, Haarshampoo - ja hier hat man wirklich an alles gedacht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, Ventilatoren im Schlafzimmer für heiße Tage und eine Traumlage. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da und haben es wieder sehr genossen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat unsere Reservierung zum Abendessen im Restaurant gegenüber mit einem besonderen Sitzplatz zu einem besonderen Abend gemacht.

Heel fijn huis in prachtige stad

Prachtige vakantiewoning op een unieke plek vlak bij het centrum. Smaakvol ingericht en echt alles is aanwezig in de ruime eetkeuken. Grote badkamer met heerlijke regendouche en een enorm vrijstaand bad. Het fijnste was misschien de heerlijke luie bank in de woonkamer met balkonnetje, na een dag wandelen heerlijk onderuit met prachtig uitzicht op de Infirmerie.

Locatie, enorm ruim appartement, met alles erop en eraan, overal is aan gedacht en voor gezorgd.

Drie heerlijke dagen gehad!

De locatie was perfect. De compleetheid van het huis was top. Vooral veel koffie en wat daarbij hoorde. Gezellig balkonnetje met uitzicht. Dichtbij het centrum en de zondag (antiek) markt. Gratis parkeren op 100 meter afstand.

De 2e slaapkamer heeft een schuin dak en voor wat oudere mensen een probleem, aangezien zij minder mobiel zijn en wat vaker uit bed moeten ‘s nachts. Daarbij is de 2e trap voor oudere mensen wel een dingetje omdat hij nogal stijl is.

Fantastisch appartement op historische toplocatie. Werkelijk alles wat je maar nodig hebt is in het perfect verzorgde appartement aanwezig. Tot aan koffie, wasmachine en Netflix aan toe. Wij gaan er zeker terug.

Außerordentlich gut!

Es ist ein ganz besonderer Aufenthalt gewesen. Das Haus ist nicht nur sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es ist auch alles vorhanden um den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem zu machen. Von Bodylotion über Einkaufstrolley bis zur Zitronenpresse ist alles da. Tolle Bettwäsche!
