The photos on Booking.com don’t do Cart Shed Cottage justice! It’s a lovely building with lots of charm. There was plenty of space and it had all the amenities we could need.
The location was also good. Close enough to the A30 for day trips as well as being a nice rural retreat with good views and local walks.
I also appreciated that it was dog friendly. My dog also enjoyed his stay.
I hope to stay here again sometime.
How popular it is! I looked to see if it was available to book for some weekends around my family members birthdays and they were all booked.

Great location, peaceful, nicely decorated and well equipped. Secure garden.
There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. It looked a little tired in parts like needing paint touch ups and things like that but very minor and did not bother us at all. Overall it was lovely.

Everything was perfect. Rosie has thought of everything to make the cottage comfortable and practical. In the lounge, the wood burning stove makes the cottage very cozy in the evenings. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean. The beds and pillows make for a great night sleep. During sunrise and sunset, the views from the cottage are idyllic. Rosie recommended two local pubs in her welcome pack, both offered great food and did not disappoint. We could not have asked for more. It was a fantastic stay.
