The place is as described. I didn’t give 5 stars because there was a book of rules that I wasn’t made aware of till two weeks before we were staying there. I honestly would have looked for a different place to rent if I knew these rules upon booking. I was on a multi family vacation where families wanted to be able to hang out together and this was not possible at this house. The owner also came during our stay to drop off ‘supplies’ (more dish soap that we did not need) and walked around the house for about 20 minutes. It was honestly a little weird and felt like he was checking up on us. (We were a family of 7 adults above the age of 30 2 small children) it would have been more appropriate for him to come before we checked in.

The Horan’s were amazing hosts! They were very quick to respond to any question I had before and during our stay. The house was clean and beautiful and perfect for my family vacation. The community is beautiful, quiet and very well kept. I can’t recommend this property and hosts enough for your next vacation or weekend get away!

This property could easily get a 5 star. We had a great stay and the owners are extremely helpful and accommodating. We asked for an early check in and late check out and each were accommodated. I received a phone call ahead of check in and several texts to ensure everything was ok. The guest book is very professional and so helpful. Everything is so organized. The pool, tennis courts and playground were a god send. The kids had a blast. The games room was great.
The reason I give a 3-4 star is that I really felt that the standard of the property did not match the standard of the pre check in attention. Here’s a few areas that could be improved to get a 5 star:
1. The hand book stipulates the number of towels provided. There were 8 of us and only 1 towel per person (no beach/pool towels). This would have been fine if detergent was provided but it is not. I feel like either more towels or detergent should be provided
2. No wine glasses
3. For 8 people there was limited kitchenware. We found we had to run the dishwasher half empty so we had enough plates ready. Probably would be more economic to buy a few more plates than pay for electricity to run the dishwasher
4. The house overall could benefit from some updating. It’s ok but the pictures make it look brighter than it actually is. The furnishings and carpets could be refreshed.
5. the deck and outdoor table and chairs had not been swept/cleaned. There we’re leaves and debris we had to remove
6. The gas tank for the bbq was empty. There was a full one but we had to change it.
7. The bbq was extremely dirty. We used aluminum as we weren’t comfortable cooking directly on it
8. There is no AC in the bedroom on the lower floor
