I don’t even know where to begin when talking about Villa Tesori Homestay. It truly is nestled in the hills—the kind of place that takes your breath away the moment you arrive. If you’re visiting Wayanad, Soochipara Waterfalls shows up in every single recommendation, and this homestay is barely 0.5 km from it—closer, even. But beyond the peaceful, one-of-a-kind location, I have to talk about our host, Nimmi. She’s well-travelled, interesting, and effortlessly warm—one of those people who make you feel at home the moment you meet them. We chose Villa Tesori for our first wedding anniversary, and she made it unforgettable. From baking us a delicious chocolate–banana cake, to giving us the best local recommendations, to the barbeque nights and long conversations—she pours genuine passion into every detail of this place. The homestay itself is spotless, comfortable, and serves yummy home-cooked local cuisine. You wake up to mountains, mist, trees, birds—nature in every direction your eyes can wander. Wayanad is beautiful on its own, but Nimmi and her wonderful staff turned it into an experience we’d happily return to. Maybe next time with our family—because they were very tempted after seeing the photos we shared!

The day we arrived was a little misty, and the view was blocked by the mist. The way to it was a little uphill.

Loved the ambience. This homestay is in the middle of the tea garden and surrounded by mountains. Accessible to nearest fun activities. Loved Nimmy didi's hospitality. She took extra care for our comfort and requirements. Had a great time staying here. We will definitely visit again and enjoy the comfort and beauty of this villa.

The hospitality of the host is the best part. They will take care of you like family. Property is slightly Interior, but not too hard to reach. Views are amazing once you are there. Rooms are clean and sufficient. There are different types of stays which you can choose prior and decide. It is possible to have a group stay or couple stay as well. Food is delicious, not too exotic but mainly feels like home food. First of all there are not many restaurants. Near by restaurants are absolutely not great. Hence need to be pre emptive about ordering any extra Snacks for yourselves in the property and need to plan for Lunch specifically. Breakfast and Dinner will be taken care by the property. I will surely plan for visit with bigger group again.

Availability of food in near by places is scarce. Traffic / roads can be a pain if there are too many inflow of vehicles as there are lot of adventure activity spots on the way.

An inspiring host. The music in the waterfalls close by. The richness of nature. Just go and resign yourself to the influence of the place.
