This holiday home, was the key to the time of my life!
The location was amazing; the views beautiful and I loved the town! The house it's self is in a nook of a cul-de-sac. Far away from neighbors, which you wouldn't think is important but in a busy house it's imperative. I loved the house, and we're considering to book it again next year.
The doors were a bit stiff; especially the toilet behind the kitchen would get stuck; same goes for some bedroom doors.

Wonderful property - ditch Sykes as booking agent.
The location was perfect for what we needed - easy access to Manchester and to the Peaks. We travelled far and wide and also enjoyed local delivery services for a special occasion when we didn't want to cook. The hot tub was an added bonus!
Sykes as a booking agent were dreadful. Terrible pre visit communication so I couldn't access the property on arrival and had to phone the owner in Florida! I will never book with Sykes again - I had to call them to update the booking and was on the phone for 45 minutes to resolve something that should have been possible on their website / app but wasn't. They really let the property down. Rooms are very dusty under the beds - could do with a deep clean but this is a minor concern.

Lovely large farmhouse in Glossop.
Lovely character property with excellent facilities. Large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Hot tub was clean and in well maintained. Easy walking in the peaks from door with a short walk into Glossop for shops or trains into Manchester. Plenty of parking on site. Would have been great for families with children.
