Good location; well equipped; comfortable.

A minor point - the Wi-Fi was a bit weak but the phone signal was ok!

Due to check in on Monday 8th at agreed check-in time and no-one there and no key code given to us so we had to go and stay in a hotel for the night. Sykes Holidays are prevaricating about a refund for the night and not responding to messages.

Check-in. Sykes Cottages didn't send the key code and didn't answer out of hours phone. Very disappointing.

Location was superb and easy to access , cottage so cosy and had all we needed . Exceptional thank you

The Hot Tub was great, as was the log fire and that had plenty of wood to burn. the size of the property was ideal for 2-4 people.

The general cleanliness (ie dust on surfaces) left something to be desired, dead flies all over the window sills, the blue couch had loads of dirt and bits of rubbish between the cushions, the other sofa felt dirty The Kitchen had an Ant infestation. The bathroom sink was so small it was difficult to wash in it. One Towel in the Bathroom that was grey, had several stains on it, I think Bleach stains The bed in the double room was only a 3/4 size, which was far too small when the room could easily accommodate a double or king-size bed. We had to clean the Glass door on the wood burner, as it was black with soot and took lots of scrubbing to see through.
