Superbly equipped accommodation.

The Hosts were extremely friendly and easily contactable but not intrusive. Ensdon Lea was superbly equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, slow cooker and 4-slice toaster. Bottled water and fans were a bonus in the heatwave. Milk and biscuits (with teabags & coffee) were all provided too. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Towels were soft and plentiful. Fresh flowers was a nice touch. Parking was no problem. Outside in the garden along with table and chairs were a number of bird feeders which the Hosts had thoughtfully provided feed for us to be able to keep them topped up. Dog towels were provided for after those wet walks . The Hosts' cats were friendly - they had a dog too but this wasn't a nuisance and never barked. In fact we struggled to find anything the hosts hadn't provided. Tin foil & a measuring jug was all we could come up with and they aren't essential!!! Thank you very much Sue and Steve. We 4 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ensdon Lea and would certainly be very happy to stay again if we want to continue our exploration of the area.

If we're completely honest the dining table and chairs were uncomfortable for sitting at for long periods like when we played games in the evening but it's a cosy cottage with restricted space so a small table was a necessity. This certainly wouldn't stop us staying again.

I arrived on a bitterly cold, dark evening just before Christmas. Sue had made the cottage wonderfully warm and welcoming.

Just perfect

Ensdon lea cottage is set on a very quiet road surrounded by farm land but very close to the main shrewsbury road . A perfect quiet relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle .

Lovely location with lovely people

Cottage is in a lovely location in rolling hills, made me feel welcome in a clean and well maintained cottage. Good location for cycling and hikes. 10 minutes from Shrewsbury but far enough away to be quiet, sit by field having a beer or wine (tried both just to be sure). Will be going back for another week
