Excellent property. V. comfortable accommodation in an ideal location for travelling within N. Wales

For a start, the view from the living room is wonderful. Being on a hill, you can see straight across the Menai Straits to Anglesey. The amount of wardrobe space was a pleasant surprise, as was the kitchen. We quite often stay in self catering accommodation in France/Italy/Netherlands and the amount of cutlery/crockery/pots and pans provided is frequently pitiful. At Isallt there is plenty of everything. The other thing that should be emphasised is the convenience of the location. It is very central to North Wales. We travelled in the directions of Snowdon, Llanrwst, Llandudno, Anglesey and Porthmadog during our stay and journey times were never much more than an hour.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Personally, I would have appreciated a hair dryer. (If there was one, it was well hidden.) But that is in no way a complaint. I knew before we left home that there was unlikely to be one as it wasn't listed in the 'Facilities' page on Booking.com.

Lovely clean spacious house. Great communication with the owner. He advised places to do a shop that were in the local area. Lots of clean towels, great parking. Hot showers. Lots of info on the brochure of places to visit.

Perfect family holiday

Lovely house. Very good location, just 10 minute drive to Caernarfon. Easy to collect keys, key safe code was texted to us on the day. Had everything we needed. Toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid provided. Washing machine and dishwasher were very handy. Kids absolutely loved it! Living room opens up onto the garden. View from living room is stunning. Watching the sunset over the Menai Straits was lovely. There was also a little patio area and tables and chairs to sit out.

The garden is a bit steep for small children, just something to think about.

Home away from home.

The property was very clean and well presented, and had everything that we could have needed to make our stay comfortable. The hosts contacted us before our arrival to ensure a smooth key collection and enjoyable stay. It was a great central location with fabulous views and tranquil surroundings. We hope to return soon.

it was so good to enter into a warm clean house on a cold & wet autumn night. Michael communicated well throughout.

It would have been better if there was a night light/ table lamp in the twin bedroom too.
