The pod was spotless, very cosy and warm on arrival. Everything you needed was there. perfect for taking the dogs, very secure.

We had an incredible stay at Corndon Pod! To start with, the directions were super easy to follow, and as we pulled up to the pod the first thing we noticed was how amazing the view was. When we entered the pod, some fresh brownies, a bottle of prosecco and a small bottle of milk had been left for us, which was a really nice touch, particularly after a long journey. Although the pod is fairly small, it never once felt cramped or uncomfortable - the space was cleverly laid out so that it felt lovely and cosy without ever feeling restrictive at all (and that was with two people and two dogs!). Everything was immaculate, perfectly clean and tidy for our arrival. The host also came every day (without intruding at all) to add some cleaning chemicals to the hot tub and make sure it was always kept hygienic. And speaking of the hot tub, it was absolutely fantastic! So relaxing to sit in there and stare out at the views in complete peace and quiet. That's another good point as well - even though there are three neighbouring pods and an active farm just down the road, we never once heard a peep from any of it. On top of all this, there are plenty of lovely walks and pubs, restaurants and other things to do in the area, all within a half hour drive. In particular we recommend Carding Mill Valley - three different walking paths all through a stunning valley, with one walk in particular ending at a picturesque waterfall. The drive to Carding Mill Valley was about half an hour and along the top of some gorgeous rolling hilltops with spectacular views itself! Overall we would highly recommend Corndon Pod - if you like the idea of a cosy little retreat with beautiful countryside walks, save yourself some time looking elsewhere and just book here, you won't regret it!
