Good location disappointed by hosts

The location of the property was good and the facilties were adequate for what we needed.

The beds were not made on arrival and the new linen left on the hall floor. The washing up was not cleared away from the last tenants and there was no toilet roll or bin bags provided. I have contacted both the hosts and Sykes cottages and neither have come back to me ref my complaints.

We had some difficulties with hot/cold water in both bathrooms and the radiator in the main bathroom seemed to be leaking, so we turned it off.

Lovely apartment , stunning location, shame about the building site.

Entire top floor. spacious, light and airy.

I with there were curtains as well as the blinds. light comes in early. we didn’t know about the building works, which was a shame. it made it difficult with our baby. it would be a good idea to label the keys.

Disappointing.

Apartment overlooks a building site. Spacious but shabby. Parking for only 1 car. Access via narrow staircase worryingly the fire escape has been blocked off! T.V had no signal. Stair lights sensor didn't work.

A most enjoyable stay in a spacious flat with most of what was needed.

Lovely outlook and situation. Spacious accommodation. Comfortable.

Steep, narrow stairs to flat was not expected. T.V. etc. difficult to get to grips with initially. Dishwasher was not clean; bits of pasta and a line of encrusted something or other at the top of the door, so we didn't use it. No drinks tumblers.

It would have been good to have some indication of building works happening next to property. Some of the fittings were a bit tired.

Good apartment and great location for visiting Northumberland.

It was a spacious and comfortable apartment, which was well equipped and in a beautiful location. The building work did not adversely affect our stay as work didn't start until 8.30 am and the builders had gone by the time we returned. Neither were the views too badly affected by the new houses being built as it is a top floor apartment.

It was difficult to use the parking space due to the building work and the large vehicle permanently parked in the next space.

We would defintely stay here again its in a great location, and a lovely well maintained property.

The Location is great for the beach and walk into town and as parking is difficult it was good to have a property with its dedicated parking spot.

This probably more a personal issue but the blinds in the bedrooms didnt shut off very well, so the bedrooms became light very early, just something we werent used too. Not related to the property more of a heads up for others, as we struggled to get in restaurants, so we would prebook them before our next stay.
