Cozy place

The host was incredibly kind and attentive. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we especially appreciated the care taken for our stay with a child.

My parents would have preferred to have a TV, but that’s just a matter of personal taste)

Abas guļamistabas bija patīkamas, ērtas, remontētas, tīras. Gultas varēja būt nedaudz lielākas, bet matrači bija labi un neradīja troksni.Bija skapī atstātas papildus segas, dvieļi un pledi. Vannasistaba arī bija laba, nedaudz nolietota duša.Bet bija daudz dvieļu,mazāki un lielāki un arī kāju dvielīši. Vannasistabā atrodas arī veļas automāts, pieejams matu fēns. Bija atstāts dzeramais ūdens un elektrības rozešu pārveidotāji. Vituvē bija viss nepieciešamaisa ēdiena gatavošanai.Ledusskapis un mikroviļņu krāsns.

Apvienotā virtuves un viesistabas zona ir nedaudz noplukusi, tai noteikti vajadzīgs remonts. Virtuves tehnika nodzeltējusi, krēsli netīri. Balkoni mazi, bet tā kā tie bija ar putnu ekskrementiem, tad patīkami uzturēties uz balkona nebija. Būtu labi arī jauns maizes tosteris.

The apartment is indeed cozy and not too far from Finikoudes Beach and all the shops, bars and restaurants in the center of Larnaca. It's located in an old house, which I knew in advance and is fine for me, and renovated pretty well inside. I liked the balconies to sit outside for eating or enjoying the warm summer evenings. There was plenty of storage space and all necessary facilities for ironing clothes and cooking. The washing mashine was not alright when I arrived, but Alessia immediately replaced it with a brand new one, so it was fine. In general Alessia was always friendly and supportive. And letting me stay after one month for one more night for free was very friendly.

Arriving sweat and tired with the wrong code for the keybox was not really the best start, but Alessia helped me quickly with another code. In general there is some space for parking on the street next to the entrance. But it's a public space and could be occupied on some days. It is always possible to find something around on one of the paid parking places around. But it's not what you look for if you want a guaranteed safe parking spot at the house every day. The main issue was the shower, which didn't work properly. For 0,5-1 minute you could get some colder water in summertime, but then the water that came out went from pretty warm to very hot. real cold water was unavailable. It was checked by a handyman several times during my stay, but it seems to be a general problem of the installation in that house, so nothing could be changed. Other people who living in the neighbourhood in other houses confirmed that it is not the same in their houses. So not having cold/fresh shower for one month in high summer was quite tough. The fact that electricity is not included in the price and requires extra payment is written in the description, but you should make sure you are aware of this. For one full month of moderate use by one person that was 114€ to pay. Overall there was a major issue with the shower, the rest was not dramatic. But for that quality the price was too high in my opinion.
