The Harbour Club

The apartment was brilliant. The view was amazing and the terrace just spot on with table chairs and the right amount of loungers for us. There was absolutely everything you could possibly need in the apartment . Iron , mop , fruit bowl . Also they left us basics for our arrival like milk juice and water which was very well received . The bar for food and drinks and staff really good . The pool also great always able To get sun lounger and great view . Pool towels included . Hotel nice and clean .pool nice and clean and the toilet also . We had a two bedroom apartment and even the single sofa bed in the lounge was comfy .

We arrived at 1 am and our apartment was up an incredibly steep hill and there was building work with a tarpaulin over the apartment sign . We searched for an hour and a half to find the room but would never have found it if another family arrived and joined us to search . We had a map but it wasn’t pinned correctly . The towels for the pool only get changed once a week which is gross . I understand for the environment and cost saving however it wasnt great . The pool bar and restaurant close so early and we specifically booked as it had the bar for the evening , and it’s closed down . If they could keep the pool bar open to the evening that would be really good . Thankfully other bars and restaurants not far but we would have spent a lot of time at the hotel if it wasn’t closed . The hill is VERY steep / or there are lots of steps .

You could have breakfast at the pool bar for under €6 for a full English, not including drink.

Staff amazing. Facilities lovely. Apartment and view outstanding.

Initial room move to harbour 2 not ideal with 5 inc toddler but room was gorgeous once we got over the walk. No aircon was difficult.

Pool and views were nice. Free pool towels and books available. Quiet location. Had enough towels and toilet paper. Host helped with taxi bookings. Was close to the bus stop although very far from any attractions.

There was a live mouse in the pull out sofa and had droppings everywhere- emergency numbers were called as it was after hours and neither numbers worked. We found a maintenance Mans number who helped eventually and gave us another room. When explaining to the hosts the next day they did not apologise nor provide anything for the inconvenience or gesture of good will. Previous belongings of other guests found in rooms (smashed iPad and tissues) which suggested the properties were not thoroughly cleaned. 1 unworking ceiling fan in 2nd room, and only fans throughout, no aircon so was incredibly hot at all times (had to sleep on the balcony one night as it was unbearable). Restaurant was permanently closed. Cleaners kept walking into our rooms throughout without knocking. This terrified one of our kids who was home alone one afternoon to get out of the sun, and another time my mum was undressed! Unimpressed.
