The Harbour Club

Everything was as good as it always is, shower pressure was great, the shower grab handle was a great bonus, the large fans in the rooms were excellent, cool morning start on the balcony and catch the last rays of the sun in the evening. The bed was large and comfortable, the storage in the bedroom was great, as was the storage in the kitchen area. Very large fridge freezer and a good sized dining table. Pool loungers are the best I've ever come across, the pool bar is excellently situated, reception manned by excellent people as well. The restaurant is now Spanish, stunning steaks, so good I came back for another one. Great location for getting a bus to other places, and also if you want to wander into the small town.

The place needs a bit of better TLC in places, especially all the wood, like doors, flower bed edgings etc. The maintenance team needs to up their game when it comes to painting, their cutting in is abysmal as is their sealing mastic work. Only entertainment on one night, which was a tad disappointing tbh.

The Harbour Club 1 is ideally suited for the facilities in Los Gigantes. It's a two minute walk to the town square and the bars and resturants. The pool area has a very chilled atmosphere and the bar is very good. The duplex apartments have a fantastic roof terrace, which gets the sun for the whole day and have great views across to La Gomera.

The ground floor of the duplex apartments with the bedrooms and the bathroom is a bit dark. And the shower has one of those curtains that cling to your body like a long-lost lover. Neither are major issues though.

Overlooking sea, pool close by. Close to harbour, shops and supermarket. Excellent helpful staff and very clean apartment

Terrace was in a good location but the wall in front of it prevented any view of the sea/sunset. Not sure why wall was so high!

Pool and views were nice. Free pool towels and books available. Quiet location. Had enough towels and toilet paper. Host helped with taxi bookings. Was close to the bus stop although very far from any attractions.

There was a live mouse in the pull out sofa and had droppings everywhere- emergency numbers were called as it was after hours and neither numbers worked. We found a maintenance Mans number who helped eventually and gave us another room. When explaining to the hosts the next day they did not apologise nor provide anything for the inconvenience or gesture of good will. Previous belongings of other guests found in rooms (smashed iPad and tissues) which suggested the properties were not thoroughly cleaned. 1 unworking ceiling fan in 2nd room, and only fans throughout, no aircon so was incredibly hot at all times (had to sleep on the balcony one night as it was unbearable). Restaurant was permanently closed. Cleaners kept walking into our rooms throughout without knocking. This terrified one of our kids who was home alone one afternoon to get out of the sun, and another time my mum was undressed! Unimpressed.
