We loved the location and the quirky architecture of this lovely property.

No oven

This was my favorite place that we stayed at out of all 8+ stays in New Zealand. I loved the architecture and the balcony up front. And the view is STUNNING. I would stay here just for the view if I come again. The stairs are a little perilous but it adds to the personality of the house. I enjoyed sitting through a sunny stay and stormy morning here. I even liked the open bathroom plan for both bathrooms. I also took a short down run to Sunshine Beach, it was not easy coming back up but definitely worth the adventure!

Not that I didn't like it but one day the gardeners did come and accidentally blew some dirt into the room even though the door was closed. They were really nice though and were just doing their job :)

The view is exceptional.

This quirky home is in dire need of some love and care. Certain lights don't work. To access the balcony you have to climb through a window. The spiral staircase case would be considered a WH&S hazard in Australia and is directly over the kitchen bench. It also makes it almost impossible to get your suitcase up to the loft room. The lower bedroom occupants can hear every step from the loft room. In short without the amazing rooms this home wouldn't be worth more than a 2 star motel in my opinion.
