The Victoria guest house

My son and his partner spent a night there and they said it was lovely. I'm pleased I chose this B and B

None

Very close to the the town centre, only a few minutes walk. Also close to the beach and lake.

There was no bath mat. Also on the third day the shower came off the wall at the top. We deemed it not safe to use , yet we was told if was and that it would be looked at monday after we left. There was no champagne or wine ,or dressing gown or slippers as advertised. If these had all been in place and shower was ok would of gave higher marks. The heating worked for two days then went off. Told the had a boiler problem. Yet sunday when the owner came back it started to work. Was told the boiler needed a part by the young lady that worked there. Other than that it was very nice. We stayed in the loft apartment.

Great location good staff

Bar shut earlier than was advertised

The bar down stairs

The room wasn't very clean it had cobwebs and spiders on the ceiling and mold around the shower tray The toilet roll holder and the towel rail had fallen off and was just laid on the floor. The bed was surprisingly comfy but the pillows were hard and a bit lumpy
