Timber Ridge Condo

It has amazing views and is only five minutes from town.

There was no a/c and it was 90 degrees outside.

Location was awesome

When we first got there it was very cold. Then the rest of our time was very hot and couldn't figure out why the heat wasn't turning off.

The apartment was cozy and cute. It was a spur of the moment booking due to a winter storm so we were grateful to be able to get a place last minute. It was nice having a fire place after being out in the cold. The bed was comfortable and it was perfect for two people.

It was disappointing to have a cleaning fee over $100 for one night. We were there for less than 12 hours and it's insane the cleaning fee was almost as much as the booking fee. It was a bit frustrating that we didn't receive the email to get into the apartment and I had to call and wait for a long time to get through to someone. I totally understand it was a busy night and everyone was looking for a place to stay, but service was spotty and sitting around waiting for an email was frustrating. A bigger disappointment was the lack of shoveling and plowing. We walked through knee deep snow to get to the apartment. I get it, it's a winter storm but if this is being rented out, i'd expect a little bit more maintenance. None of the walkways looked touched all day. The next day a plow didn't come through the parking lot until almost 9am. All of the cars were completely snowed in and the walkways were still covered in snow, this time walking in snow almost to my waist. The plow only came through once stilling soooo much snow, especially after everyone shoveled their way out of their parking spots. We waited for several people to get out, everyone getting stuck and we too were stuck. There was so much standing snow in the road and if the plow had come by again and cleaned some of that up, instead of making a single sweep through, we could have gotten out hours before that. I grew up in a mountain town, i get it, when it snows hard, there's a lot to plow but I guess I just expected more out of a place where guests are. Plus, we didn't have a shovel so we didn't have much to work with getting out or to even shovel the walk way up to our apartment to get out. I was supposed to receive information on check out as well and never did, hopefully we did everything we were supposed to but for a cleaning fee over $100 I'd expect to do nothing! If it's snowing be mindful that this place is up the hill a bit and the roads weren't plowed.
