Although the property was in a great location, it was tired, poorly maintained, and not presented to the standard we had

The location of the property was excellent for Tenby. We also liked the fact that there were animals on site. Another good positive was the allocated parking space.

Sadly, the property was, in our opinion, tired and not as we had hoped. On arrival, we looked around and were a little taken aback by the black mould in the bathroom, the dampness on the Velux window in the bedroom, and the broken bed in the main bedroom, which, although perhaps a matter of personal preference, was also very low to the floor. The main light in the bathroom was also broken. The kitchen flooring was damaged as a result of water, the cupboards did not close properly, and the oven was dirty. There was only one teaspoon provided, which is not ideal for a family sized property. What frustrated me most were the cups, which had not been cleaned properly. There were also dead spiders and flies, and the floors had not been swept. Some may read this and feel I am being overly opinionated or pedantic. However, when I compare this to another property I have stayed at, I do not feel that I am.

Mixed review

Location was good and apartment is large enough.

Dishwasher door was broken, bathroom shelf was broken, no light in bathroom bulb had gone and I found quite a few of the plates and bowls in the cupboard were caked in food from previous stays which was pretty grim.

Great little place for small family.

Location not too far to Tenby and Saundersfoot

Not properly clean prior to our check-in. There’s a lot of spiders & spiders web in every corners. My poor 2 children’s is so scared of it and they can’t sleep and rest well. Toaster is oily inside/outside. Stains on the floor. The shower hot water only can used 1 at a time and then we have to wait 30 mins to 1hr roughly for the next use, as the tank is small. I hope this can be change to electric shower so it’ll be more convenient for a long term benefit. Other than that everything is alright. With washing machine, hoover, and dishwasher.

Dissatisfied with property

Nothing much

Too near to main road, you could hear the traffic in the night, so had to sleep with windows shut. Internet was useless. Grandkids were excited to see a play station 3 but internet was so rubbish that they could not play on it. Did not mention that had two flights of stairs to apartment. Stains on settee and brown water leaking out of cupboard door on to kitchen floor all the time. Grout around bath was black.

Stay was pleasant,but not quite what we expected

Well kitted out Bed linen / towels very clean

Low bed ( too low for anyone with mobility issues) No hand rail in bath / Shower. ( needed to assist with any body with mobility issues) Windows ( skylights) in bathroom & bedroom need a good clean. Mould around bath ,needs removing.

Overall a lovely week holiday

Host very quick with email responses to questions. Lovely location as we have stayed previously. Good value for money.

Perhaps more hooks in bedroom for towels. Internet slow at times. Washing machine door broken but host was very good at fixing it and reimbursing costs.

Great apartment near Tenby

The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. Beds were good. Parking very easy and very close to Tenby as well. Area very quiet and nice walking in the area. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for couples and families.

Short break

Sunflower apartment is in a great location for exploring the rest of Pembrokeshire and eating out in Tenby and Saundersfoot. The apartment had lovely fluffy towels and was cosy. We appreciated the provision of milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Along with dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. That was very kind. Thank you The pigs, goats and alpacas were very cute. The whole site was well kept and quiet at night.

Being very picky, we could have done with another loo roll and another highball glass. We only had 1 tall glass, which was chipped

Could do with a really good clean and new beds.

The location was great. Weather was fabulous.Shame there wasn't a bus nearby but its s short drive to Kilgetty, Tenby and Saundersfoot and also not really that far from Haverfordwest.

WiFi was a 4G router on 3 that had almost no signal so Internet was mostly lacking. Youtube on the tv was watchable as it buffers enough to keep going. Trying to check-in for flights was z nightmare. The beds were terrible, too low and old. I couldn't wait to get home to a clean and comfortable bed again. Rooms also very small. The bottom bunk was dirty and so was the oven. We basically cleaned the apartment which had 3 spiders and possibly more. This made for a few restless nights. It was certainly not clean, the hoover looked like it had never been emptied and didn't really do much. Cobwebs and mold on the skylights didn't help our opinion. Really disappointed.

Cosy, well equipped apartment in fab location.

What a find! Fabulous, well equipped little apartment in fab location. You do need a car to get around but Tenby only a short 5 min drive. Close to Heatherton (which is great value and fun!) and Manor Wildlife Park. The Xbox went down extremely well with our son! Loved the extra touches like the complimentary welsh cakes on arrival. Hosts also very accommodating. we were able to check in and out a little earlier. We will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

A cozy place to stay

The place is well equipped, clean and quiet. We can see ourselves returning.

Unfortunately the freezer was not closed properly and a layer of thick ice was formed. We are very pleased that Sion was very quick in attending to it.

Wonderful stay in Sunflower apartment

Great accommodation, nice and spacious for 2 of us. Very well equipped kitchen. Shower was fantastic. Nice little touch with Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge on arrival.

The double bed in main bedroom was very low.

Overall not bad

There was plenty of room in the apartment and there was a lot of stuff provided for you to use e.g travel cot, high chair, dog bowls etc. The little welcome gifts were a lovely touch and the fact Sion had gone out of her way to print off dog friendly beaches for us was was really nice. The location is good for getting out and about to different places. Sion was very quick at responding to my messages too.

We did have an issue with the bed sheets which I felt hadn't been changed but Sion assured me that they had but provided us with new clean sheets anyway. Also the seal around the bath and the shower curtain really need replacing as they both have mould present.

Good apartment let down by poor mattress/sofa.

The Sunflower apartment was clean, good size and flooded with light. The kitchen had the cooking utensils and pots/pans a family would need during their stay. On our arrival, we had tea, coffee and Welsh cakes kindly provided by the hosts, thank you.

Unfortunately, the flat was let down by the most uncomfortable sofa and mattress I've ever come across, which is a real shame. We had a lovely time regardless of the poor mattress and sofa but as owner of a dodgy back, I really struggled, especially as the bed was quite low. The wifi signal could've been better.

Great location for the local kids attractions. Nicely kept property and grounds and everything you needed in the apartment for your stay….wi th the additional bonus of fresh milk in the fridge .

Only thing I wouldn’t rate if I was being picky was the comfort of the sofa bed for sitting on….we all tried to avoid ending up on there!

Unfortunately this was an average stay. Would of been worth the money if it was cleaner.

Plenty of space. Had everything you would expect in an apartment. Shower worked great. Own car space is a bonus. Bedding and towels smelled fresh.

Unfortunately the cleaning looked like it was done very hastily. Toilet was stained on outside of bowl. Kettle was dirty. Dresser was dusty and had someone’s hair all over it. Beanbag very stained as well as the dining room chairs.

Clean ,little touches milk ,tea and coffee ,dishwasher tablets,hand soap,tea towels,scourer ,fairy liquid,Spacious accommodation,cot and high chair provided ,towels ,water hot at all times of day ,must have a car to get around everything within a 5 mile radius, great shops going into pembroke dock, tenby fantastic dogs allowed on beach top road ramp down side opposite belgrave hotel and parking £5.00 for whole day cheaper than 5 arches.at accommodation goats in enclosed area outside, there were 2 small flights of stairs to accommodation, so left pushchair in boot of car ,there is an iron ,hairdryer,airer,washing machine with built in tumble dryer ,large fridge freezer,dishwasher, tv freeview the scart lead was out at back so needed connecting ,could not get wifi on laptop even though it said connected.not a problem as out all day .would return great host sunflower .

Knives need sharpening ,maybe a couple of pint glasses nothing major .

Great family stay

The location was great, so easy to get to all the tourist places. It was very handy having the travel cot and high chair there for us when we got there. Great communication with the owners when the washing machine needed fixing. We would definitely stay again.

Exceptional

The information we got was excellent. The apartment was clean and everything we asked for in advance was ready when we arrived (highchair and cot), including some treats! It has all the appliances needed. It was a lovely stay and wouldn't doubt to go back. Thank you!
