**Dogs are welcome to stay in the cabin! Up to 2 dogs max are allowed to stay in the cabin. Other type of pets, including cats, are NOT permitted. If you choose to bring a pet(s), there will be a pet fee of $150. You must disclose if you are bringing a pet(s) as this fee is added on separately after booking. Pets MUST be house broken, crated if left unattended and must not shed excessively. All pets are solely the guests responsibility; guests are responsible for their pets at all times as well as for any damage the pet(s) may cause. Guests are also responsible to ensure that any litter is cleaned up. Potentially dangerous breeds such as German Shepherds or Pitt Bulls are not allowed.
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. For security purposes, there are cameras that monitor the outside area of the property, they do not point towards the hot tub or any interior spaces. All linens, towels, and a starter pack of supplies are provided but please bring your own coffee, condiments, charcoal.
We highly recommend you check the weather before booking & bring a four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to storms/road conditions. We recommend you purchase travel insurance.
The hot tub and fireplace are operational year round!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay.

We’ve had plenty of getaways at other rental properties and haven’t ran into as many issues as we did here. The pictures are certainly nice so we didn’t anticipate any issues. One of the main reasons we booked our stay here is because of the yard space for our dogs. The description and photos made it seem spacious and more private when in reality it’s a really small piece of grass next to several other properties and backed up on a ledge.
Another reason we went for this property was the jet tub but it fills up not even halfway with hot water and then it runs cold. When maintenance came out he wasn’t able to access the water supply so that wasn’t able to get fixed, but he did mention the leak coming from upstairs into the bathroom downstairs needs to be looked into further as it could be a bigger issue down the line. Bottom line we only tried using the jacuzzi twice - definitely was a let down.
Next, this isn’t a complaint but more of a warning for the next folks. The starter pack mentioned in the description is nothing to last you if you are staying several nights. (We stayed 7 nights) There was one extra trash bag, 2 dishwasher packs, and one pack of laundry detergent. Also, there was no starter pack of coffee or basic cooking ingredients like oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. So don’t make the same mistake we did, but everything so you don’t have to go to the store more than twice! Thankfully when we communicated this to the owner they were understanding and helpful and issued us a small refund to cover the cost for buying these item.
Lastly, a few minor issues—there was no water pressure in the upstairs shower when the washer was running. Also One of the dining chairs is falling apart, the front door is a pain to shut, and we kept experiencing lights inside the house flickering even after changing a bulb.
We made the best of our stay, laughed some of it off, because it was just comical how much we paid to stay at this cabin - but still we are glad we came, however, we don’t think it was worth the $$$ plus the insane amount of VRBO fees.
Pros: the pool table was fun, the pull out couch was nice to have, and the kitchen had plenty of cookware. And the owner was responsive.
Definitely will visit Gatlinburg again (and the surrounding areas) but will be staying somewhere else.
