Trulli Resort Aia Piccola

Location and quiet inner courtyard. Excellent breakfast and wonderful host. The accommodation was more than we expected.

Nothing! It was perfect!

The property is ideally located and has 2 parking spots, which is very convenient for 2 families. The house has actually space for 8 people to sleep in, and the bathrooms as well as the kitchenettes with each bedroom were superb. We had breakfast in the backyard every day, you can spend a lot of time outdoors at this property. Mario was always easily reachable. He brought us plenty of food every morning, there was enough coffee, tea, water, in the house. It was an excellent place to start daily excursions throughout Puglia.

Breakfast was excellent and was delivered every morning by Mario, our excellent host.If we requested something different he was very accommodating. There were plenty of supplies in the fridges and they were restocked when needed. Alborobello is a great location as it allows you easy day trips to Matera, Monopoli, Grotte de Castellana and other places. There are some local restaurants just a short car ride away that we really enjoyed. I would imagine that the Trulli zone is very busy in the high season but being located just a short walk away from there meant you could avoid the crowds early morning and later in the day/evening and really enjoy the place. This Trulli is first class in a great location with Mario as a wonderful host and is so unique an experience. I would suggest that when going to the caves (Grotte) and Matera you plan in advance re tour times as this will save you a lot of waiting or disappointment. The Bermuda crew had an excellent time
