The peacefulness of nature surrounds you on 2.21 private, wooded, rolling acres. Relax in the serenity of tall Oak and Cypress Trees while deer trot down to the creek for a quick drink of water! Covered outdoor pavilions and lovely indoor accommodations make Chili Pepper Falls a perfect spot for nature lovers and those who love their creature comforts as well!
When you first enter this fantastic vacation rental you will notice the many large windows overlooking the back wooded area which extends all the way down to the creek. The main living room with peaked ceilings and exposed wooden beams has an open feel, yet is still a comfortable spot to cozy up on the couch. The limestone, wood-burning fireplace is perfect for chilly winter nights. Watch a movie on the television or converse with the chef of your group from the open kitchen nearby!
The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the supplies you will need to create a delicious meal for you and your guests. All you need is your groceries. Chefs of the group will enjoy the electric four-burner stovetop, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea pot and refrigerator/freezer. The bar with two barstools is a great spot to use as a serving line for the dining table nearby. The half bath is conveniently located right off the living room. Internet access is also availed in all areas of the house.
Both bedrooms at Chili Pepper Falls are split master suites with comfortable king-sized beds, chic furnishings, full bathrooms with walk-in showers. One of the master suite has a small flat screen television with cable. A queen sleeper sofa in the main living room is another spot for two guests. The two master bedroom plus sofa layout is a perfect arrangement for two couples or even a family of six!
When you are ready for some fresh air, take a step onto the back deck with seating and a double swing. You can also enjoy the screened-in porch, furnished with a sofa to relax on while enjoying the view! When you and the kids are ready for desert, take your smores down to the large fire pit and bring back memories of campfire sing-alongs! For the outdoor grilling enthusiasts there is a large charcoal smoker down by the creek and there is also a gas grill on the back deck to enjoy.
After a long and eventful day in the hill country relax and enjoy your private hot tub. There’s nothing quite like enjoying the peacefulness and quiet under twinkling stars above.

The property is private, quiet (unless there is a wedding at the Messina Inn), and wonderfully close to downtown Wimberly. It's an incredible value so long as you keep in mind that it has well water and there will be an odor of hydrogen sulfide when running faucets and showering. I'll absolutely put this at the top of my list for my next hill country stay.

The location was great with Deer all’s round the property and very comfortable with humans. The view was very nice and the split masters worked perfectly. The house is a bit dated but overall worked great for our needs.

Beautiful views and very quiet. The property could use some quick fixes to make it perfect (fixing and painting some things).
The shower in the room to the right does smell like septic tank.

this property location is great. deer were roaming and we saw a fox. location is close to town. quiet property and quite large acreage with a nice firepit . nice bedding and towels. AC works fantastic! great having two master suites.
BUT be aware - septic tank needs cleaning. smell to take a shower and when you open dishwasher is awful. I've stayed at other homes with septic tanks and it doesnt smell like this. the home needs updated pictures. paint is peeling off front door...there are no blinds that function properly in the entire home. All the open and close mechanisms are broken.
ceiling fan in den needs balancing. its very loud. the hot tub cover is so old and crumbling into the hot tub. there are pieces all in the bottom. the oven is missing a piece near the floor. watch it or you will cut your foot. The silverware has mostly disappeared. We were constantly washing utensils. there were 5 forks and maybe 4 spoons...
We were there for 3 nights. hoping the owner provides updates and TLC on this place soon and spends a little money to update. especially for the price!
