Ri's House Hoi An Homestay

Very good hotel, big, clean and well equipoed room in a very quiet area near the City.

I stayed at Ri's place for a month since I prebooked and it was nonrefundable. It was a fair enough place and they helped me with everything I asked for. I would say the main issues I had is that there was zero proactivness and zero connection. Not proactive - They only cleaned the room when I asked for it even if it took me 2 weeks to understand I need to ask. They never asked me if I need anything in the month I was there but when I did ask for something I got it(like cleaning or a night lamp or even moving rooms because my room was on the loud road - though I needed to pay extra for that move). This was the family home - there were kids living there and the family was always around it would be loud as they were having dinner or kids playing. I felt very disconnected and like a ghost they would barely aknolwedge me as I stepped out. I've never been in a housetay with so little feeling of hospitality. It was a weird disconnect between staying at their house and fully feeling like they couldn't care less if I was there. It was ok nothing terrible but not something I would return to personally. If you want to be left alone this could be great for you! But then why not go to a hotel?
