Location was absolutely amazing. Stunning scenery and lots of lovely walks. A total escape from normal hustle and bustle of life and total relaxation. Bring binoculars as the wildlife is amazing.

Would have liked a radio but this is the only very small dislike.

We had a wonderful stay in Woodland cottage for my dad’s 60th, the owners are so welcoming. The cottage itself has everything one might need, beautifully designed and the wood burning stove is a pleasant feature for evenings. Grounds are vast and we enjoyed having meals on the terrace. There’s plenty of wildlife to watch from the doorstep as well as on walks. Birds sing beautifully and waling up to their song is just a joy. Short walk from the river and fisherman’s cabin where we enjoyed playing jenga and dominoes while watching young bulls in the field across the river. Grounds are well looked after with paths clearly cut all over the estate. Thank you to the owners for protecting this piece of land and keeping all this beauty so pristine and unchanged, it was a real rest for the soul.
