Location, and buildings themselves
Real issue with fly’s not much you can do about it though.

We stayed at the Deveron Valley Cottages (Sunflower cottage) for 3 nights and loved our stay there. The area is beautiful and the hosts are lovely people. What we liked most about Deveron Valley Cottages is that they're very dog friendly and don't charge for dogs staying there. They even provide dog blankets, dog bowls and dog treats. The Sunflower cottage is quite small but very cosy. There are other, larger log cabins which are so lovely but they were fully booked at the time we made our booking. I can highly recommend staying there as it's only approx. 35 min. drive from the north coast and it's beautiful beaches, wild coast and charming villages. The hosts are very nice and welcoming and put a lot of love and effort into their properties.

The inside was very clean and modern. It was so cosy and we loved the wood burning stove and enclosed garden for our dogs.
