Penthouse. Old city Alicante

A tasteful yet quirky home from home. Very clean and tidy. Our (a couple in our early 50s) experience was really amazing. It is so central to just about everything. We caught the C6 bus from the airport and the apartment is within a ten minute walk of the bus stop. The code to the building was emailed as promised and check in was seamless. Yes there are 73 steps up to the apartment but they are fine. The air con was great. There was a background noise from the small nightclub below on the Friday and Saturday but it was just background noise. We definitely didn’t need the earplugs kindly provided !!! The balcony and rooftop terrace are lovely suntraps!!! You have everything you could need in the apartment. We made use of the washing machine. There was washing powder provided. The castle is definitely worth a half a day visit and the apartment is very very close to one of the routes up there! There is a Carrefour Express within a minutes walk and it has everything for a weekend’s stay. The bathroom isn’t shown on the photos but it is spacious with a shower over a small bath. There is a hairdryer in one of the drawers in there too. Would highly recommend this apartment!!!

Nit picking….cushions would be nice on the loungers as they are a bit uncomfortable. And if I’m being honest that is probably all I can say.

I have stayed here several times. It was a great place to stay for Hogueras did not need to be with the crowds for fireworks and burns because of the amazing terrace.

It was amazing, clean, everything that could have been needed was there and many little things and details in the decoration made this stay really outstanding. The outdoors are so relaxing and the swing a cute little add on in the insides !

In good central location- close to tram stop. Outside space was really good with both a terrace and a roof top area.

We were not aware that the property was immediately above a music bar which played loud bass music until three thirty am. The noise and bass beat, along with the club’s industrial extractor fan kept us awake and was really intrusive. Thankfully this was only on a Saturday and Friday but was so bad we changed our accommodation for our last night to avoid it. The facilities needed a facelift- towels were threadbare, bedding quite tired and we had only two mugs with one that was chipped - so had to buy our own. There were over 70 steps up - which wasn’t a problem for us but they were quite steep. The access to the rooftop is also by a metal spiral staircase- again fine but needed to take care.
