The owners!!! They are so sweet and genuine.
I took the local bus (ceres) from Cebu to Maya. I already told them beforehand that I thought I would arrive late. But little did I know… that my busride was going to take 7 hours. I panicked a bit because I saw that the check in ended at 10pm, and I knew I wasn’t going to make it. But the owners waited up for me and were so welcoming and happy when I arrived at 11pm. The morning after I went out of my room a bit stressed about the ferry to Malapascua. But the owners told me to relax and sit down and then they brought me warm buns and fresh mango.
10/10 - would recommend!

Family owned business run by Nimfa and Dilbert who are incredibly welcoming and instantly make you feel at home. Their staff is also really helpful. The hostel is located right next to the Maya port, so extremely convenient. The rooms and adjacent bathroom are very clean, with little attention to details like electric adaptors, soap, and bedside lamps. There is also tea and coffee available. See you soon Nimfa and Dilbert!
