BAAN CHAINARONG

Super friendly and helpful staff! Lovely rooms, great size and very comfortable. The area is abit out the way but you can rent bikes for 250baht a day to get around the local area. 7/11 and old town are about a 15 min walk but they have taxis that run from the hotel! We basically had a private pool the whole time we were there! Beautiful hotel areas and pool area. Can’t fault a single thing here! I typically lost my bank card on arrival but the hotel manager was kind enough to let me bank transfer her money for cash!! she was super helpful and very respectful!

Beautiful property the pictures do not do it justice. The receptionist was so nice and helpful. There were very cute cats present and honestly that made our stay so much better. The rooms are modern and clean. The pool was clean. There’s a really nice local restaurant just outside the resort. We rented a bike from the resort it was so affordable and hassle free. Keep in mind that this resort is on the other side of the island so if you want to get to the beach it takes 30 minutes you need to rent a bike to get around.

Nothing bad to say

Big room, comfortable bed, nice amenities and friendly staff. Great that they had laundry and bike rental onsite. Very peaceful and tranquil.

AC filter needed a change (dusty), needed abit of TLC in some aspects of the rooms (broken bit of headboard). Pool was highly chlorinated (didn’t stop us from using it) none of this impacted our stay

Staff were friendly, helped with scooters, laundry and gave us free coconut water from the trees around. The room was okay and pool looks nice.

You can hear the call to prayer in the morning and at night it is quite nice to hear but woke me up at 5am. The bathroom is not clean and there’s ants inside. Gym facilities didn’t look useable but I didn’t try. The location is far from the good beach’s and activities, but it was good to see where more of the locals live and old town is much quieter than main places. I wouldn’t stay again.
