Whether as additional accommodations to the on-site Highland Cottage or a luxury getaway all by itself, the Highland Carriage House provides an elegant simplicity that will both charm and delight you.
Located just steps from the Racquet Club, tennis courts and Sky pool, the Highland Carriage House is in the middle of exclusive Rosemary Beach. Originally conceived as a planned community, you’ll notice that every home here has an inviting wrap-around porch, perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and sweet tea in the afternoon.
Exceedingly pedestrian-friendly, wind your way through the secret pathways between the homes and carriage houses for a romantic stroll. Spend a day on the sugar sand beach and the evening wandering through the New Orleans-inspired Town Center.
The town of Rosemary Beach also features 4 separate pools strategically located within the community, available for all residents and guests.
Known as a foodie destination, you’ll enjoy the variety of delicious restaurants, from romantic special occasion spots to casual beachside joints and everything in between.
Back at your carriage house, you’ll ascend a flight of steps and enter your cozy nest through a covered portico. A separate covered deck off the living room offers a scenic view of the community.
The spacious living room offers a lovely conversation area with a comfortable convertible sofa and two side chairs. Enjoy your favorite show or a great movie on the HDTV.
The living space is awash in natural light, casting a warm and inviting glow over the whole area. A dining table for four is tucked in the corner, overlooking the outdoors.
The kitchen, while not large, offers everything needed to prepare a full meal, including an under-the-counter refrigerator, a full-size stove and dishwasher, and a microwave.
The cozy bedroom has a queen-size bed and another HDTV. The fun retro-style bath, with its checkerboard tiles, is ensuite.

We had a wonderful stay at Highland Carriage House. The property was spotless upon arrival. it was the perfect size for a couple, with a comfortable layout, tasteful furnishings, and everything we needed for our getaway. The location could’ve have been better, just a few minutes from the beach and close to great restaurants and shops, yet still tucked away enough to feel quiet & private. Check-in process was seamless and communication with property management was clear and professional. Overall, this was the ideal spot for a couple looking for a peaceful beach retreat. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to return in the near future!

Loved the walkability to the beach and shopping and restaurants. We were there for our honeymoon and plan to come back each year and hope to stay at same location

The location to the square and "downtown" Rosemary Beach is great only a small walk away. Lots of places to eat, you may need reservations for many during the summer. The unit is above a shared garage, which is nice that you don't share any walls or floors with anyone. It is clean, and cozy. However, note that a set up of chairs, table and umbrella at the beach will cost you around 100 for a day. If you want to lay on a towel, you have to stay within 50 feet within each crossover to the beach. There are little cottages, houses, etc all around, and it's not set up as a regular neighborhood. It's very nice, but you overlook a private pool that is part of a different house rental and people can swim in that pool whenever they choose. We saw about 5-7 kids there, from 7:30am-9:30pm. Glad they were having fun, but we could hear them throughout the unit. Lastly, the wifi/television was pretty bad. Hope they can get something more stable in there. The tv would lose connection in the middle of a movie, and would take time to log back in. The beach is wonderful, water is exceptional. Some days smooth and no waves and some days the complete opposite. We enjoyed our visit, but it could have been a bit less hectic.
