The place is fine, with a good location-to-price ratio. It is spacious, and overall we enjoyed our stay, we would probably visit again. However, there were some things we didn’t like.

A couple of things could be improved. Given Chalkida’s known issues with insects and cockroaches, we expected the apartment to be kept extra clean, but unfortunately it wasn’t, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Second, some basic essentials were missing, such as cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper, kitchen paper, and an additional bed sheet. For the owners, a few suggestions: the sofa seemed quite worn, so adding removable, freshly washed covers (or considering a replacement in the future) would make a big difference. In addition, the entrance to our apartment (no. 31) opens directly onto the stairs, which could feel a little unsafe at night. Installing a barrier or automated lighting would make it safer and more welcoming.

It was very comfortable, clean and the location was good

There was no elevator and we were at the 3rd floor, the air conditioner at the room had problems and was too noisy, its placement was wrong because all the cold air was directed to our faces when we were sleeping. Three cats were always in the balcony and for that reason we couldn’t open the windows as we had our dog with us.

The host's attitude was great. The apartment is large, spacious and bright

The mattress is terrible, but what's even worse is that there were cockroaches. The frying pan in the kitchen is unusable due to scratches. The shower in the bathroom is damaged and the water jet is directed literally at the wall.
