Lomond 5 with Private Hot Tub - Fife - Loch Leven - Lomond Hills - Pet Friendly

The Lodge was huge loads of space and a great amount of provisions in terms of plates bowls cookware and utensils. There were clothes and dishwasher tablets left which was excellent we had brought our own and thought this was a lovely touch. TV,'s in both living room and bedroom. Bathroom was huge and clean. Hot tub was fantastic it was fenced making it private huge bonus. Bed was massive. Lovely location had a really nice walk with our dog and large grassy area where she could play with her ball. Lodge was peaceful and relaxing and views were beautiful. Design of Lodge was well thought out in terms of maximising location and privacy. Really liked how you were told when staff would check hot tub and you wouldn't of even known they were there. We actually didn't see any staff but a great booklet with info and helpful tips was left in lodge. Would stay again.

Bed wasn't very comfortable was quite firm a mattress topper would probably make a difference to comfort. Pillows were terrible very small and flat. Decking all round Lodge was broken in places and at entrance very uneven was a trip hazard. Hot tub could be accessed from outwith Lodge by staff to check on it which is good as no need to disturb guests however gate didn't close properly to fence meaning you were worried someone could see in or it a strong guest could swing it open. Doors had gaps at top letting in drafts and making it cold. Could not get heating on at all which was a shame as it got cold. As we were cleaning up and getting ready to leave there was a power cut. We were in the process of putting dishwasher on and then grabbing a shower. Power cut meant no hot water after washing dishes so just tidied and left. Power cut happened just before checkout time which dampened what had been a very chilled relaxing stay. Would stay again but I do think £422 was a bit expensive for 2 nights access from 4pm and out by 10am (this includes £35 additional charge for dog) completely acceptable given some dogs can be very messy. However I would not hesitate to recomend that people stay here.

Great location and facilities

Loved the hot tub being so private and being on for arrival. Huge lodge and very comfortable bed. Nice quiet area so very relaxing and just what we needed

The lodge is a little dated and could do with an update. Even with all the lights on it seemed a bit dark.

The accommodation was much better than expected and really spacious, the photos don't do it justice. The location was perfect with beautiful views and we loved how peaceful it was. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing. The kitchen facilities were excellent. The bed was comfortable and despite there being a storm outside on our first night we were warm and safe inside.

The smoke alarm was very sensitive, even going off while toasting a bagel. We couldn't find the WiFi password but that wasn't a big deal for us.
