I know going into this we would be a bit away from town that was one thing we liked ab the cabin. So it took a bit to get to things but that’s what we wanted. There is a little diner and a Dollar General within 5 minutes.
I really don’t have any complaints. If you are going on the plans for Gatlinburg or some place like that, the drive is a bit far for daily commute.

Upon arrival, we were blown away from the mountain and lake views from the cabin. The hosts were not just professional but very friendly and insightful. They shared lots of cool sites to see that we fully took advantage of! We were in Tennessee for the NASCAR race but very much enjoyed visiting and shopping at the local markets and landmarks that our Hosts recommended. The size, cleanliness, lake access, peacefulness and overall comfort while at the River View cabin made it very difficult to want to leave and return to home and work, we extended our stay to soak up the nature and relaxation as long as we possibly could.
We recommend Ben's Restaurant for breakfast, lunch...very down home feeling. Tom's Sporting Goods in Morristown is a must-see for those who are fishing and need licenses. Any bait and tackle that's not there, doesn't exist; they have everything!!!
Our favorite activity was sitting on the porch swing, especially after dark to relax and just taking in the fresh air and all the surrounding nature!
My husband and I give our stay 10 STARS and can't wait to book another stay !!!

One of the best parts of River’s View is the front porch. There is a porch swing and a table and chairs for dining or card-playing. Sitting out there after dark is so peaceful.
Coffee and filters were provided. The owners are kind and accommodating.
